ACG on Youtube launches into a [NSFW language] diatribe against the top 5 worst games of 2018. His condemnation of the titles may initially seem overboard, but you soon realize just how bad they are when you watch the game play footage that he presents to make his point. Many times in the video, I felt pity for him having to review such bad video games. What games do you think should have made the list?

karak sits down to discuss some amazingly bad, and some just sort bad 2018 titles. To identify what the companies where thinking?

Can't watch the video at work but I'd be surprised if Atlas didn't make the list.

Let me guess, Fallout 76 is #1.

EDIT: LOL wrong right off the bat, fair enough.

Is it me or does it seem people now a day think they sound cool when they say MF or GD ever other word. That is the way stupid kids think.
It is VERY unprofessional.

1. I highly doubt it is intended to be taken as professional, and meant for those that prefer more casual (kind of like the H here). A lot of people actually prefer the more laissez faire environment over the stuffy setting, hence why there is a market for it.

2. From my experience, as someone who uses a lot of profanity when they speak, it's actually more of a long comma for people who are poor communicators. using like, the word, like, like, every other word, is like the same thing. Just a stop-gap used to buy time to properly word your sentence without losing interest with disjointed pauses.

Yeah I've only played one of the games on that list, Extinction. Got maybe 20mins out of it before I uninstalled it. It was free so no great loss except for the bandwidth wasted.

Atlas and Fallout 76 deserve to be at the top of the list for the biggest failures in gaming for 2018 though. They may have not been the worst games, but they definitely failed...badly.

The great irony being that it's actually worse than disjointed pauses as people start to focus in on how many times they'll use the stop gap. Such as counting how many times someone uses it in a sentence.

That being said, this list was weird because it seemed like it was 1 step above picking 5 random steam shovel-ware games. With the exception of Extinction I'd never heard of any of them. So i guess the criteria was that they had to be actual games but not games anyone actually legitimately tried to play?

Improper use of swearing is a huge pet peeve of mine, it isn't laissez faire, its just plain lazy.

If you are going to swear it is to punctuate something not to pause and buy time. If you are going to swear in a pre-made speech (such as a youtube video) you should DAMN well get it right.

So he's hitting his target audience? Sounds like a smart content creator.

Not only that, he's trying way too hard. Can't even make a sentence without swearing or some lame joke that I assume we're supposed to spit our sides at.

Bashing Banalfield never gets old.

My friend keeps trying to get me to buy it, and all I say is I'll buy it when it has M1's and shermans and possibly playable Americans. How the hell is it ww2 without that.

I didn’t know this and am now more committed to not buying it harder.

Well, that's a useless video, where did he find these games ?
Nobody knows these games to warn about how bad they are, nobody would'v found them anyway, he should have made a list of triple A games or heavily marketed ones.

I don't think steam earlyaccess and obscure indie games should count in these lists, I mean there were always crap shareware games even back in the 'gold' days. Just nobody gave a crap.

Thanks Cagey! Can always use a good laugh. Favorite part was watching that deer run off into the digital abyss. I can somehow relate.

I completely agree with him in regards to Steam as well. I want to support up and coming dev's but man there needs to be easier ways to filter thru the shovel loads of crap that appears by the hour there. It's just 'nope'.

That's part of the issue. Most YouTube videos aren't scripted. At most there's rough notes the want to touch on and then it is all ad libbed from there.
