Corsair c70 case.

Want to replace my Corsair H115i with this, Noctua NH-D15, on my 3930k. I'm planing on running slow fans to reduce the noise...the current pump system is annoyingly loud.

Whats the best price to get this beast for? I never see it on a real crazy sale.

thanks

(edit: this is the non RGB verion of this cooler)

You might also look at the 14Ds. It has one fan, but there is little difference in cooling. And it is cheaper and has better clearances.

Good move in either case.

Never heard of a RGB version. Doesn't seem like a Noctua thing.

Will look into the d14, thanks for the feedback.

The RBG reference was about my h115i, I noticed Hard did a review on it not too long ago after I posted, just wanted to be clear I have the older version
:)

I had my 3770k cooled by a 115i, then decided to go air for peace of mind and found a NH15D on craigslist for $40. Dude had just upgraded TO a 115i. :ROFLMAO:

I'd been scouring for a good deal for a few months tho, YMMV.

I have have had a Noctua NH-D14 for eight years. I have just transfered it into every new build I have had. Idles at 25-30c and under load and it typically is never above 65c and that is with my I76800k overclocked at 4000hz. Buy it and to not look back. Best PC part value around for it's reusability.

I've used the D15 on both the 7700k/2700x, amazing cooler. Just tall... also I did not see much of a difference between 2 > 3 fans as I did with 1 > 2.

You will be hard pressed to find any sort of deal on them, and should expect $85-90 price tag. The only time you see a sale is when it's site wide, or an eBay site wide coupon. They are worth the price however.

So after I read this I was like ...hmm...Craigslist "Noctua NH-D15". Someones actually selling one (BNIB) for $65....Can I get a "Amen" right "here" :) Hope its available tomorrow. :)

Happy New Year!

Pretty sure I have a NIB NH-D14, (think it has 2 fans, I can look), that I'd sell for that, plus actual shipping if that doesn't pan out.
