I need to pick this up. I bought the Gold Edition a couple of weeks ago when it was 33% off. I refunded it now that it is 50% off. Maybe waiting to see if I get Steam gift cards for Christmas.

SotTR is pretty meh. It's worth $15-20, but no more IMO. It's a great "show off" game for graphics and sound, but there isn't much a of a game under there. I really like Far Cry 5 even if it is oddly paced. I paid full retail for it and don't regret that at all. People are swearing AC Odyssey is potentially the #1 or #2 game in that whole series. I'm hoping for a freebie on that one, but it sounds like $30 is well worth it. Siege is a good game, but it's going to be dated looking compared to all of those others. It also requires both the normal game (dirt cheap) and the yearly pass for all the content.
 
Ok Thanks I want to try them all but don't want to sink the hours into them let alone buy them and not play them.
 
Is there some way to see what games will be on sale before they actually are?

Steam Store was down all morning you can't make a purchase even if you wanted to they might extend the sale. I spent about 15.00 total only but wanted to purchase Warhammer Total War II for the Pirate DLC.
