Colin Kroll, the CEO and co-founder of popular app game HQ Trivia, was found dead in his downtown Manhattan apartment earlier today. Police believe he died of a drug overdose; he had drug paraphernalia nearby that reportedly included cocaine and heroin. Kroll was also the co-founder of the now-defunct short-form video service Vine and served as the Engineering Manager at Yahoo about a decade ago.

Kroll was named CEO of HQ Trivia in 2015. The year before, he was fired from Twitter after he was determined to be a "bad manager." Female employees claimed his behavior made them uncomfortable, however, no sexual harassment claims were ever filed. HQ Trivia was having problems recently. It was steadily losing audience. In January, HQ was in the top 10 list of most downloaded iPhone games. It's now fluctuating between #250 and 500 in the U.S.
 
More likely cocaine and fentanyl or even worse, carfentanyl. Shoulda just vaped some kindbud and gulped an appletini.

As a former druggie strung out on both legal and illegal drugs for a few decades, all i can say are thhhhhhhhh :rolleyes:

HAHA..so damn true...only second to pot smokers do cokeheads talk as much about doing their drug as actually doing it. And yes I know plenty of both. Kid was probably sheltered and was not able to handle the "success" and fake accomplishment that comes with the always looming financial/social/moral crash.

Weed and alcohol are incredibly mediocre highs for many. Myself included. I just dont bother anymore.

It's almost like having responsibilities to provide for yourself and family is good for you. It's almost like doing something that provides meaning to your life can make you happy. People wonder why Jordan Peterson is so popular.

Not sure it makes anyone stupid, it just removes some barriers in life allowing them to be themselves. Even stupid people come up with multi-milion dollar ideas.
