Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe has snowballed into a truly enormous franchise, but few parts of the franchise are more popular than the "Avengers" movies. Today, Marvel uploaded a trailer for the 4th Avengers film: Avengers Endgame. As expected, it looks like survivors are dealing with the fallout from Avengers: Infinity War. Thanks to cageymaru for the tip.

Check out the trailer here.

We began our Marvel Cinematic Universe journey together back in 2008. The epic conclusion to Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is upon us, and some of your answers can be answered in the first official look at the 21st Marvel Studios film. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared the trailer this morning... See the culmination of the last decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe when "Avengers" opens in theaters on April 26, 2019

Can't wait to throw more of my money at disney. I was really hoping they wouldn't do a trailer just for the level of suspense it would create. Because let's be honest, it doesn't need one anyways.

Have not even made it through Infinity War yet... keep falling asleep. They make these movies too damn long.

You know what would be nice? If Marvel could properly format their trailers to fit ultrawide monitors! Artemis Fowl's trailer displayed PERFECTLY in 21:9 with no letterboxing! But both this video AND Captain Marvel's trailer squish it down to a 16:9 image with bars on the top and bottom as well.

Might want to see a doctor if you can't do something for 2 and a half hours without falling asleep.

It's called being an adult and working 60-70 hours a week. Sitting still for very long tends to end in snoring. I have become my father, LOL

If you were talking Arrival or %95 Blade Runner 2049 then I'd be in agreement.

Arrival for sure. I was awake for BL 2049 in the theater, but when I tried to watch again at home with Mrs we were both out cold halfway through

I'm so glad that this movie will be as awesome as it looks. This will be the last Marvel movie I see in the theaters for quite awhile if the current Captain Marvel sheningans continues and we get shit movies in this vein in the coming years.

I'm glad they are sending out these actors on a high note. RDJ made this series, Chris' made Thor/Captain believable. The end of an era, and a fitting end.

What Captain Marvel shenanigans? The movie looks pretty good. Maybe not amazing, but like a solid origin story to lead into someone with the power to take on Thanos. Carol Danvers is a great character (as long as you ignore dreck like Civil War II and a lot of modern Marvel comics) and if the movie can do her right she could serve as a great introduction to a new era of heroes for the MCU.

I can't handle these movies. It feels like everything is just a long commercial for the the next 5 spin-off individual movies.

It's an awful superhero movie. The main actress is a wooden block of emotion, the character EARLY in the comics was awesome, but now she's become this OP'd character because she's a woman and she has to be more powerful than God's.

If the movie was based on earlier comics then perhaps we might have a success story to watch, but from everything that I've been watching not even Jude Law and SLJ can save this trainwreck of a movie.

My statement stands. That is a sign of lack of good sleep not 'being an adult', which can lead to health problems. That was one of the questions my doctor asked me "do you tend to fall asleep if you sit for a few hours?". Just saying for sake of health, not to be a smart ass.

Carol has been near OP level for many years. Hell, go look back at her time as Binary. I wouldn't even say she was only awesome early on. It really wasn't until around Civil War II where the character really went to shit. The problem with a lot of the recent stuff with her in the comics is that they just kind of ignore Carol's flaws as a character.

IMO, that is the most perfect trailer there could be, gets suspenseful but doesn't spoil a god damn thing in the movie if you watched the other movies (Including the post-credit scene of Antman & The Wasp) , not going to watch any other trailers that come out in the movie from this moment on, because I know they'll give away key plot points like people surviving and what not

Agreed. I always hate how trailers do that. Then you have some near-death for a character early on but it doesn't move you because you saw in the trailer they are fine later on or in another movie etc. Maybe at best follow up trailers could just be characters we know are alive just having looks of despair or something.

Damn son don't watch the extended versions of any of the Tolkien movies! What are those 3:30-4 hours..... lol
And burn yourself out with those hours.

Hawkeye taking on the Ronin persona is going to be sweet.
Hawkeye's looking to be a tad pist......

Yeah, in the Avenger's Ultron movie, when the Hulk Buster armor came out it was like "meh... saw it in the trailer, it's not an exciting nerdgasm reveal" when Thor fought Hulk in the arena in Ragnarok... same deal. They should know by now that people will see these movies, this much us guaranteed as long as they make a good movie, they don't need to spoil some key plot points just to tease people to come see it.

The problem is, spoiling these plot points probably has little to no effect on sales. So they might not have any data collection that says it is a bad thing. Screens should fade-to-black on reveal for a teaser and honestly be much shorter. A 10 second tease would probably be enough for me. Maybe use more audio and less visual for more suspense.

I can hardly wait...the entire lineup of modern Marvel Studios flicks has been absofuckinglutely awesome.

I feel as if Doctor Strange has set some kind of time loop/trap right before he gave up the Time Stone to Thanos.
Speaking of which, Dr Strange completely blew away my expectations, and sits at the top of my list for favorite Marvel Avengers focused-character movies. Would love to see a sequel, but I don't think it'll happen (and isn't really needed with DS's integration into the main storyline Avengers movies).

First trailer is always safe to watch. But trailers after this one will start giving away a lot more. At this point you already know if you're going to see end game or not. So don't spoil it by watching new trailers that come out.
This trailer already spoiled something imo. But its ok

Yes there is one spoiler in this trailer.. If you're gonna see the movie anyways. I recommend don't watch the trailer.

I think it has everything to do with Ant Man because in the post credit scene one of the other characters well telling him "watch out for the time vortexes" (or some shit like that) right before he went into the "miniverse" and then the other guys turned to dust. Strange probably saw this outcome as the only one that would work, I mean why else would they do a post credit tease like that in a Marvel movie that comes after Thanos snapped.

Can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.

I was thinking "they can't be serious" during every second of this trailer. What the hell did I just watch

I didn't fall asleep, but only so many three-point landings a movie can reasonably show in the span of 2hrs before it tips the scale into self-parody. I realize I'm an outlier but it's really only the banter between human actors that keeps me going. When the antagonists are superimposed cartoon characters with a gold glove from Burger King and corny dialog, it breaks continuity let alone makes it impossible to consider them menacing. And 3D animation still hasn't solved the uncanny-valley problem of running movements and fight scenes looking too abrupt and disjointed and sped up; its like watching a videogame cutscene.

I feel as if Doctor Strange has set some kind of time loop/trap right before he gave up the Time Stone to Thanos.

They couldn't have telegraphed it more obviously -- Dr. Strange has a plan to make this movie a 2hr Undo button on Infinity War's ending, bringing everyone back and rendering the entire previous exercise meaningless.

I may disagree with you on Marvel stuff but I completely agree on this. After spending many thousands on entertainment tech it's sometimes depressing my wife and I consider it a blessing when we can stay awake in our own theater for even one movie in a week.

Legolas in the Hobbit trilogy was like that for me.
