Sony Announces the Fifth Anniversary of PlayStation 4

In a new blog post, Sony Senior Vice President Eric Lempel announced sales statistics to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Sony PlayStation 4. The video game juggernaut has sold 86.1 million hardware units, in addition to over 777.9 million software units worldwide. Two of the top selling PS4 titles are Call of Duty games and two more are FIFA games. Grand Theft Auto V is also on the list of the top 5 best selling games. The most popular titles on PS4 sees the addition of Fortnite, and the list for the most downloaded PlayStation Plus titles highlights Destiny 2, Just Cause 3, and Mafia III.

My kids are getting Spiderman for Christmas so I can play it on their PS4. Of course, I have to find a time when they are not playing Fortnite on it.

Seems longer. But then again, the 360/PS3 don't feel last gen to me.
