We don't have any real numbers either way. Surely you don't believe what a sales guy is telling you?
That’s basically the best real numbers we’ll get. Who less biased will they come from...

I have the same card, started seeing some weird stuff happening with it but might just be that COD BO4 is really buggy?
Yeah I just installed the nvidia drivers and have not done any overclocking. Forza 4 at 4k60 all settings ultra with vsync only used like 60 to 70 percent of the card.
20 series video cards are dying left and right! BSOD, CTD, issues with g-sync, freezing at 1350 mhz, etc. I can't believe Nvidia could release such a buggy product.
When you pay top dollar you'd expect flawless performance, but nope!
Good news is I hear that they are releasing a new driver that -might- fix some of these issues, but i expect the hardware defects still won't be fixable. GamerNexus did a bios update and couldn't fix the stuck 1350 mhz frequency.
If it's only using 60-70% of the card then it's not giving you full performance. Do you use a g-sync monitor?

My point is that it's not real numbers. The RMA rate could be 20% but he isn't going to come out and tell you that. Until Nvidia come out and says there is a problem then retailers are just going to keep reassuring us that everything is fine and return rates are low.
So you won’t believe a german overclocker that has no problem criticizing nVidia/Intel but you’ll trust nVidia themselves? Not sure I see the logic.
“My name is Roman “der8auer” Hartung and I am a mechatronics engineer from Germany. I've been active in the extreme-overclocking scene ....”
He hand sands silicon off dies of cpus to save a few degree C but he’s not an overclocker? Shit he has less skin in the game than nVidia...
Read his BIO on Caseking, He is employed by Caseking, He is a product engineer and Marketer for them.
I've had it since the 15th of Oct. I game on it at least an hour a day during the week and on weekends Ive been playing 3-4 hrs.
MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z - Micron Memory
Working great until I ran Time Spy and received my first TDR. So I am a little skeptical if it is a good card or not... I will keep everyone posted.
From Asus:
"As of May 8th, your warranty shall not be void if any warranty seals are altered, tampered, or removed (for the U.S.)."
This is just ASUS acknowledging that they have to follow the law instead of any magnanimity on their part.
