There is a small group of independent tech journalists that go way back. Ryan Shrout and I are two of the guys that are still on that very small and dwindling list. Today, Ryan is letting us know that he is moving on to his next challenge in life, and that challenge will be performing the duties of Intel's Chief Performance Strategist. That sounds like a job that Ryan is extremely well cut out for. We wish him well. Have no fear however, as Ken, Allyn, Josh, Jeremy, and the rest of the crew will be manning the PCPer helm as Ryan steps down. I will be tuning in tonight for the PCPer Podcast live filming at 9pm CDT and hitting up the chat room for sure.
Today marks the beginning of a second journey, one that I didn’t know would ever come. I have accepted a role at Intel as the company’s Chief Performance Strategist. In this capacity, I will help influence and drive performance leadership across Intel’s product portfolio. My first day will be in mid to late November. It is a challenge that I am looking forward to pursuing and an opportunity to catalyze Intel’s leadership even further.
