Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Sale at GMG

I hate saying this, But I bought it already on Battle.net Via WoW gold. I actually preordered something! The open beta of the black out mode was fucking fantastic with my friends and we also played the online multiplayer and zombies mode. My entire crew decided we would play it and boom. I bought it.

CDkeys, had the digital deluxe version for $59.99 still pissed I didn't buy it last week... But I'm ready to preload at 9pm tonight via Battle.net.

Those people had their orders cancelled last minute. You didn't miss out on anything but a headache.

Yeah, I'm pissed I ordered it from cdkeys and then missed the chance to get it for 25% off because I thought I had already bought it.

Glad I didn't try to save $40 then lol...

As a BF4 player that's waiting on the sequel...

...Is this worth picking up?

As someone that spent most of their life playing BF2, BFBC2, BF3, BF4, and only 20 hours in BF1, and about an hour in BF5 (See where I am going here), yes BO4 is worth it if you're into BR, if not, pass on this and wait for WW3 (but don't get your hopes up).

and only 20 hours in BF1, and about an hour in BF5

Fucking hell this describes me to a T.

Although, I'm going back to the BF1 campaigns now and will be giving BF5 a fair shot when it arrives, neither are replacements for BF4.

I don't expect COD:BO4 to be a replacement either, but it might help hold me over in the meantime. Thanks for the response!

Haven't played a COD on my PC since Call of Duty 4, but figured blackout looks like the first BR game im actually interested in I bit lol. My poor 1080 can finnally be used on something besides rpg games and VR lol

I agree, I'm only buying it for BR. I hope I don't regret it, as I have every other BR game. I enjoy playing BR but they have all just been buggy and have serious issues. I worry that CoD BR is just a side thing they added to the game to get sales and they won't really give it the attention to make it great.

im sure the BR is on thier crosshairs. The mature BR audience is patiently waiting for a big player. I cant stand fortnite. As soon as I played COD BR for 30 min I knew I was buying it.

Still trying to decide if the deluxe version is worth it.. is it really just for the zombie mode?

Whateverr.. snagged the digital deluxe version while I could.

I loved COD (the original). Had so much fun with the UO expansion. Then played tons and tons of BF games. Then I bought Black Ops 2 for cheap last year. I remember why I love COD. Action, action and more action. BF just feels too slow these days and the fact that you get killed randomly all the time because there are 15 baddies, one on each side of you.

Thanks. Bought the deluxe version. According to the site, you activate these on battle.net . Does that mean that Steam is no longer required for COD games?
I don't care if a game is on steam or not but I do enjoy that we can get real numbers for player base since Steam makes that info public.

Thanks... I think.. lol. I bit. Digital Deluxe is still available this morning. They didn't seem to have the Digital Deluxe Enhanced anymore though. Been a while since I've played CoD. The last one I bought was Ghosts which I pretty much hated.. then for a while it seemed they did a whole bunch of that jet pack/flying wooha which I hate. From the trailers, looks like this game has some of that, but we'll see.

And ya, CoD BO4 doesn't use Steam.. it uses Battle.net instead. I don't believe Battle.net publishes the active player base numbers like steam does.

Damnit damnit damnit.

Just cost me 80 bucks because I also want a non Fortnite BR that runs better than PUBG.

The BR mode just works for me because with three kids and wife aggro possibly at times , I can jump in and out of games quickly.

thats my biggest draw to, I really don't like the concept of building in fortnight and pubg just always looked way to janky for me. COD's BR looks like the first BR I am willing to play lol

Exact same , my two older kid (10 and 8) play Fortnite , and I think their years of minecraft before pays off as they regularly finish in the top two or three teams on duo's. I just am not up for a ramp building race myself in my FPS/shooters.

If you're a humble bundle monthly subscriber you should have an extra 10% coupon in your account for Blops IV, so 20% off total for $47. They do require you link your bnet account to humble.

Boy lots of people pissed off and me for my sons ps4. Guess people that pre ordered threw bestbuy for ps4 codes got the shaft..

New word is the codes wont work till after midnight.. thinking it's a guess cause at first they said it will work after 8pm eastern.

Been downloading it all evening on my pc though hehe.

So.. dont pre order crap from bestbuy for digital codes!

Oh and to top it off some report being locked out of the psn network from trying the code too many times within a 24 hour period.

Hey, I'm locked and loaded and pre-loaded. Do I get to play at midnight? Does anyone know?

I very rarely pre-order shit but man, Black Ops 4 Black Out was incredibly fun. Super excited to showcase my new 2080 ti with this title.

Does anyone have a general idea?

Thanks!

I'm glad there is no single player campaign. They did such a good job with the mechanics of the game. The graphics engine runs really will i'm getting over 100fps maxed out on a 1080. The game even runs really good on my laptop which has a 1050ti max Q. Very well optimized. The multiplayer modes are great. Blackout mode is awesome it's what PUBG should have been. This is a really good release.

I'm kind of glad that BO4 is not on Steam. It disrupts the Steam jug
No single player no sale.
I am surprised to hear there is no SP. I am all about SP in many types of games but not FPS. I did play the entire SP in the original COD (just awesome for its time), COD2, MW1 and MW2. Only bought BLOPS2 since and never touched the SP.

I usually only buy COD games for the single-player- not that I've bought one in quite some time other than last years COD:WWII!

I find it to be quite a disappointment, one making it mostly not worthy of a purchase; however, this is the first COD lately that I've been moderately interested in the multiplayer side. Usually that's the domain of infants on consoles, which I refuse to play a shooter on infants or no, and PC communities die quickly if they ever even get started while also suffering from said infant infections vs. the Battlefield series.
