Cool. Good news, there is a special room for you that you should probably go and check out and maybe wait in if you want. It's stocked with tons of toilet paper, canned water and rations, enough supplies for several years. Ironically, the room right adjacent to that one is where all the guys are that are waiting for the cheap 2080 ti's. All of you should really try and make friends. it will be a very long wait.

Also, I should point out that @ $256 for 32gb of ram for 3200mhz ... you're just about at January 2017 prices ................

I paid 185 for 32GB 3200 C16 in March 2017, so, no, really we aren't just about there.

The flood in Thailand raised hard drive prices for like 7-8 years. We're just now coming out of that.

Someone needs to hold the memory manufacturers accountable.

In a few years DDR4 prices will trickle down just in time for DDR5 to be used..

Go higher in mhz with your ram and enjoy more frame rate in your games!

Try 4266+

I noticed frame rate increase like 15+ just from going from 3400mhz to 4266mhz.

It's like a GPU upgrade!

Really? Hrmm .. I have 3466 ... I wouldn't mind jumping up to 4266. I'm gonna research and see if this is true.

Agreed. I went with 32gb of ddr4 also, for around $160.

Ok I went and looked and no, faster ram doesn't help you really.

3200Mhz is the sweet spot.

Seems like a decent price to me. Had 32gb previously and it was overkill. With the price of a good fast M.2 boot drive and the windows pagefile wanting to chew up space.. I went with 16GB total when I built my current setup a few months back.

Phew! I paid $273 for 64GB (8x8) of DDR4 2800MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX in March of 2016 that runs just fine at 3200MHz at slightly relaxed timings. Damn I feel like I stole it now.
