Once again ... the executive producer you know the big boss, clearly stated the race, gender, cultural heritage of the characters would not be changed. This was stated on May 11, while the writing/casting process was taking place.

It doesn't matter what someone connected to the project tweeted 6 months before the news broke that the role is to be cast as a minority (by which clearly meant non-white). In what reality does a 6 months old twitter post made by one person supersedes a casting call six months later?

People who didn't know at the time didn't know about what the executive producer said because they weren't informed. Instead of informing themselves and maybe doing a little research to see if the outrage was warranted people chose to be triggered and jump on the outrage bandwagon. Even though the executive producer had made the situation clear, irresponsible media outlets decided to stoke the outrage fires. There was absolutely no need for the executive producer to clarify the issue when they had already done so 4 months previous. In fact the executive producer was so sick of the alt-SJW bullshit they left twitter. Now we see that just like the executive producer said was going to happen, a caucasian polish girl was cast as Ciri .. completely consistent throughout this entire process.

Of course they weren't informed, for crying out loud. That's exactly the issue, that someone deliberately misinformed them. Because at this point it is clear that the "BAME" news was a plant to coerce this exact reaction.
If the news tells you that someone is poisoning dogs in your area, Do you look at the twitter posts of every friend of the person who supposedly poisons dogs, to see if there is some post to be found that says he'd never hurt a dog? And even if you find said post why would you believe it over the more recent news?

Because it's irrelevant. Words evolve over time. Did you know originally the word "cute" came from "acute" and "cute" only referred to someone that was intellectually respected? Later in time it evolved into someone "attractive" to the point that now "cute" solely functions as an adjective to describe someone's looks. OMG, we need to pretend like "cute" means "smart" again because you know, ORIGINALLY, that's how it was used. Just admit you're wrong when it comes to BAME. As I said re-inventing the word minority to not mean what everyone uses it for, and then act surprised when it gets an unfavorable reaction? 2 weeks later it is revealed that A was a hoax. And someone drags out an old twitter post by person Y who is an executive of project X. That nobody saw, because no news article mentioned it.

If anything that twitter post should've been added to the original bame post, by the "journalist". So at best the fault is with them.

First off, I'm not angry. Since your attempts to redefine my argument are getting old, I'll just ask you a question:

Why would an executive producer committed to not changing gender, ethnicity, or cultural heritage of characters cast such a wide net? If, as you've said many times, the Executive producer knew Ciri would be a young Polish girl 4 months prior to the casting call, why waste everyone's time by auditioning Black, Asian, or any other ethnicity of actress?

I can only think of three reasons:

• Lauren is a bigot and only added the BAME part to have the opportunity to waste the time of Black, Asian, and ethnic minority actresses.
• Lauren had a change of heart and decided to reneg on the (according to you at least) iron-clad guarantee that gender, ethnicity, and cultural heritage would not be changed.

OR

• Lauren or someone else involved in production wanted to cash in on that sweet, sweet SJW vs everyone else hype.

Be at ease, no matter what you do, or say, they can find a reason why you're still in the wrong, if they want to. And that's the real problem. They don't attack people because they're in the wrong, they attack them because they don't like what they think.
