Nvidia just refunded me shipping for my 2080 ti cards without cause or explanation, everything else looks normal so far. They accidentally canceled my order and added me back in the queue. card cost not refunded, but apparently you can stop a fed ex shipment mid transit. Should I be worried or is this happening to a lot of people?

Supposed to arrive Monday. I'm going to be raging hard if they mess this up again.

False alarm, cards are here, you might get unexplained free shipping from nvidia though:greyalien:

They’re free cause they racked it on to the tax. I remember cause when I opted for next day shipping the final price went up by 30 dollars lol

Damn not one but two! Must need some serious power other than gaming lol! Cuz SLI hasnt been the go to thing lately.

The general rule is to buy as powerful of a card as you need. If the most powerful card isn't enough well, that's what SLI/Crossfire/mGPU is for.

Wasn’t my point, you are staying the obvious. New games don’t even support mgpu. May be 1 out of ten. So what’s the point of getting second card for gaming when you can’t even use it. unless it’s for professional workload.

Not for me. I was charged the flat 6% sales tax my state has on the $1199 of the video card. Final bill was $1270.94, confirmed by my credit card statement. Maybe I got lucky?

Most likely upgraded your shipping to one day cause of the delays.

My status showed as pending on credit card for a couple of days then disappeared off the statement. A couple of days later I got a shipping notice from Nvidia. It was only a couple of days after the card arrived that the credit card was charged.

They did the same thing to me too.

Oh I got 2 cards so I could play anything above 60 at 4k and have some streaming/movie going on on the second monitor. GTAV caps at 59 at 4k with this card. I was thinking of learning how to program and get into unreal engine as well. I wonder how long it would take me to go from zero to UE4 DOOM Sourceport dev.
