NEC PA272W - Display's HDMI port won't do 60hz at 2560x1440

Hello, I have been trying to get 2560x1440 at 60HZ on NEC PA272W.
Three different machines: NUC7i7, NUC6i5, Sony Vaio Pro 11.
All connections to the display by HDMI output ports led to 2560x1440 at 30HZ.
NEC offical website claims NEC pa272w monitor to have HDMI input port ver. 1.4, 10Bit signal capacity. Unfortunately this begs me to question the real truth, as I am unable to get the 60HZ at 2560x1440 on this display via HDMI.
Any suggestions apart of trying to use the HDMI adapter to DisplayPort? Thank you.

ps. NEC's marketing material has stated for this display it has a future proof connectivity.. how? computer manufactures are ditching DisplayPort for HDMI.. this display is getting left behind and who on earth would want to work at 30HZ?

Why did you make another thread? Did you try a better cable yet like Armenius suggested?

I came here to make the same recommendation that Greyson made -- try a different RATED cable.

According to the site above, 2560x1440 at 60hz 10Bit, requires over ~8.7GB/s data bandwidth (calculation is taking into account ''total horizontal+vertical rather than active pixels"' which for active resolution of 2560x1440 suggesting is 2720x1481). HDMI 1.4 which is 10.2GB/s data transfer capable, reserves data capacity of only 8.16GB/s (8.7>8.16) for video input/output suggesting PA272W monitor can only accept the video data transfer it needs (8.7Gb/s) through DP input.. If the hdmi to dp video converter wont work, seems like I have to look for a different computer (with DP output) or a better monitor (its own HDMI 2.0 input)
if anybody understands this better, please correct me!

I know the answer, but because he spammed a new thread, it stays with me until someone nicer comes along.
you no better than me it appears posting irrelevant replies, your message count suggests you do it pretty well too.
i ordered a sony hdmi cable (certified as suggested too, it just hasnt arrived yet https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00692QAX4/ref=psdc_1338421031_t1_B0046HO9RI)
also for the reference, reason i created a second topic:
1. the title name is more relevant to my specific problem
2. i couldnt delete the previous topic
