2080ti Availability

Any reviews up yet? Haven't seen anything on [H] yet.

I think Kyle pre-ordered them for a review, I believe (could be wrong) he's on Nvidias shit list right now with the whole GPP thing. PCPER has a review up and they are reliable as well.

There are definitely reviews popping up. Guru3D has a few different ones. More mainstream tech sites like Ars and Engadget, too.

Looks like the 2080ti is a decent bump over the 1080ti, 25-35%, but dat price tag... I normally pick up the flagship on each generational release, but ehhhhhhhhhh...

IIRC, he was actually offered a review sample from Nvidia (to everyone's surprise), but was advised not to sign the NDA by his lawyer. Obviously, this means he had to go the retail route instead.

You know you want one unless you have a 1080ti :censored::yuck::yuck:

In between hacking alert e-mails Newegg sent me a note saying mine would ship on the 27th. It isn't shocking, but those Nvidia announcements made it sound like pre-orders were still going out today.

is 27th the date that other retailers will have ti version of the cards? is this just the founder's edition and not the 3rd party ones? I'm hoping my local fry's will have one next week... need an upgrade for my titan

..."need"...

No judging ;)

It's going to be interesting on the 27th to see if Nvidia holds their promise. I thought they were building these things up in the pipeline and you can't even order one today you can't even preorder one. the 2080 has been released by your are quarantined to the versions nobody wants to buy.

Completely impossible to get one here in Denmark. Retailers stock notice suggests that they might have certain brands by the end of next week, but for most cards it looks much later than that. Not a very impressive launch in that respect.

I have worked with NVIDIA for 20 years and I can't get mine.....oh wait. ;)

So, I pre-ordered my 2080Ti FE like (I assume) most of you on here did, on August 20th. My CC was compromised five days ago, and I have the replacement from my bank. I called NVIDIA to change the CC information since the other card is cancelled, and they're telling me they can't do that. The order hasn't been charged or shipped, as I received the same email as Kyle did. The CSR told me (in my words) to get #$%@%@, and that they can cancel my order, and I can place a new order. I informed the CSR that there is no way for me to order a 2080Ti FE, since it's wait listed on the NVIDIA online store. He said, "I'm very sorry, sir."

Does anyone have experience with NVIDIA's online store, or having similar payment modification issues? If so, how did you resolve it? I've waited years for a GPU upgrade, and some hacker taking my old CC isn't going to stop me from getting the damn 2080Ti FE that I pre-ordered the minute they went live.

You can go to a micro center or camp nowinstock for Newegg availability lol, as those are actually available per the 9/27 announcement unlike our "from the source" cards. XD

We don't have Micro Center in/near San Francisco. Thank you, though. Hopefully, someone has experience with this, or a tip on how I can get them to modify/edit the payment method.

Newegg just had the EVGA 2 slot XC card for a moment. It wasn't long enough for me to buy it, but it was there.

You're the flip-side of people like me that paid with Paypal and were charged immediately, but have nothing to show for it but e-mails.

A sense of pride and satisfaction ... maybe some exposure ...

Given that these are basically broken Quadros and that the GT100 die is smaller than the GV100 die on the same process months later...my guess is yields are not great even for broken units. To be fair, these are absolutely massive dies and even though they are smaller than GV100, that was basically the largest die possible to make on TSMCs node.

The only reason there were any Titan-Vs at the low price of $3k was because NVIDIA built those for several super computer customers and saw a way to make a few bucks off of partially broken dies.

EVGA is supposedly saying the 2080 TI FTW3 Ultras are shipping next week! Woot! Trying not to set myself up for disappointment. :|

San Francisco? Go to Santa Clara and give JHH a good old shakedown for us all then! ;)

nVidia just charged my CC $2,571.86 for two 2080 Ti FEs so I assume they're going to ship soon? Fingers crossed, next weekend is a long weekend for me so that would be a nice time to get these setup.

Microcenter in Cincinnati (Sharonville) has 3 of the Zotac 2080 ti's in stock right now.

NV just charged me $1,312 and updated my order status to 'Processing: Please allow 1-2 business days". I ordered late on Aug 20th and originally had an estimated delivery date of Oct 8th. I wonder if this means I will get my card before Nvidia said I would. I had resigned myself to waiting much longer, given what I have been reading online.
