I want to say that this is the best opportunity to try to pick up a 1080 Ti if you are looking for one. For example you can get an Gigabyte Aorus for only 589.99 brand new from Newegg. If you are okay with losing out on the extra 1 year warranty, you can combine buying discounted eBay GC's (for example Amex Blue Cash gives 6% on all grocery store purchases) to get a brand new 1080 Ti for as low as $555 out of pocket. Snagging a used one is also definitely an option.

Fill your cart now and check out when the coupon is live. ;)

And just like that Newegg bumped the price by $100 on that exact card

I was going to buy that one...

Scummy behavior from Newegg there. I got mine from EVGA official on eBay (they don't bump theirs) on the last eBay sale. Unfortunately on this round, they are sold out. Sorry to get peoples hopes up but cards have been available in that price range in the last several ebay %off sales. Too bad people ended up buying up the 1080 Ti's after seeing the 2080 reviews. There's always the used market but yeah...

Planning on getting a monitor. Is it saying code isn't ready yet for anyone else?

Just add it to your cart to have it ready and then use the code upon checkout. (y)

A lot of people do this to lock in the 'normal' price before people jack them up. Once in the cart, price is fixed. :D

Think I might get a 970 evo 500gb, they're 150 right now. This coupon will bring it down to $127.50, plus might get a buck or two back from ebates.

I just tried the coupon at 10am CST and it appears to be up and running already.
(or it at least discounted/applied in the cart)

Edit: looks like it worked and went through

I switched to a desktop + ultrabook combo thanks to buying cheap parts due to previous 15% promos. I'm selling my XPS 9570 on eBay at the moment too hoping that someone would be interested with the promo going on.

Decided to bite, even with BF coming up it's not likely to be much better than this. I'll have to clean up my drive, but a lot of games can stay on my existing 1tb and I'll just move windows over to the nvme.

i bought the exact mellanox card a few days ago.. now ima load up on cables. thanks for the heads up..

I swore it said 10AM PDT but somewhere along the way, it got changed to 8AM PDT (which is 11AM east coast). Glad I checked, cuz I'm sure things started selling once it went live.
Just got some more Switch games :p

Between waiting on Matisse and just being patient with the GPU market, I don't see any urgency with PC hardware at the moment.

So they changed the time? Figures. EVGA is out of stock now on the one 1080 they had left, watched it happen live a 15 mins ago. NE raised the prices on all pascal cards it looked like. Still some 1070s at evga's ebay store though if interested. $379 +/- and then add coupon.

Bestbuy WD 8tb My Book externals (good for schucking) are covered by the coupon. 159 down to $135.

Best Buy via eBay has the Easystore 8TB for $189, which has been the price for a few weeks now. So 189 - 15% = roughly $160, plus tax for many (most?) of us. Still decent I suppose, but I suspect it will drop a lot lower in the next month or two.

EDIT just realized the above poster said "My Book" not "Easystore". Will have to look into the shucking status for the My Book models.

Easystores have been the favorite for shucking for a while. I got mine for $160 each back in July of last year, and they've been 150 and 140 a lot this year. I think I'd wait, surely they will go lower again.

On topic, if anyone wants the 500gb 970 evo like I did, I got it here - https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Samsun...olid-State-Drive-SSD-MZ-V7E500BW/232940662264

Without any coupons they've only been $140 once during black friday 2017 (which im hopeful will reoccur this year), they have regularly been $150 though (3x so far this year).

The mybooks have typically been hit or miss on quality drives inside for shucking and often more expensive than the easystores (when they're on sale).
There just alot more data/attempts at the easystore so the mybook is a potential risk unless you're keeping it as an external.

One, this is an ebay thread already so you know, look it up your lazy selves. Two, it looks like I forgot there is a difference between the mybook and easystore models. My bad.

$275 for a set of 4 wheels for my Mini truck. Was going to order anyway

So... Saw some Gigabyte Non-Aorus 1080 TI's yesterday going for $579 NEW, and was hoping could snag one when the deal went live for less ~$490. Neither made the morning.

I need a Synology DX517 expansion but they're always more expensive on Ebay so the coupon barely helps.
