Just ditched my Gigabyte X470 to go to the Asus board as I think it is more friendly wtih my ram and easier to tweak of course. I started having random power offs everytime I tried to use AI Suite III to calibrate the fans. Disabled CAM software AND Corsair CUE and it was able to finish the calibration without issue.... Is there a fix for this? I am on the latest bios..

I don't think that's hardware related if you can disable two other software programs and it works. All I can say is that I haven't had similar issues, but I don't run any Corsair software alongside AI Suite 3.

Yup I must have found 10 different posts about the same issue.. Asus is aware of the problem and even addressed it with a bios update I saw. My guess is the one thing I did will still cause the issue. Running the fan calibration does it EVERY time... disable CAM and CUE and no problem. I have sense enabled them with no more issues yet... so its possible just running fan calibration while CAM and CUE are running creates the issue. Now if I could just get my 4x8 gb of ram to run at 3200mhz and pass memtestPro id be happy.. just gave it a little voltage bump to see if that does it.

almost 100% sure its just the conflicting montor programs. and I second the voltage bump, seen that numerous times.

Yeah.. there are pages and pages about it and when when I saw a bois update that says it fixes conflicts with 3rd party monitoring applications that pretty much confirmed it. I think there is still a little bug in there but I found a way around it by just disabling CAM and CUE while I do the fan calibration. Asus is top dog in fan control. I have used all the main brands and none allow me to throttle my fans as low as Asus boards will.

Got the memory stable I believe... finally passed memtest by giving it a bump to 1.37v. Having no issues so far. Every problem I had with my Gigabyte board is gone... That board was far more picky about memory and everytime I made a change it was likely to not post. Hopefully this one lasts.

For those having AI Suite III random shutdowns.. I just bought Argus monitor to see if it can replace AI Suite III for me. I like the tray icon options and hopefully the ability to allow all programs to play well with each other. I had a Random shutdown when it was not in use the other day which I know is AI Suite III conflicting with the NZXT CAM program..
