Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 Images Leaked, Will Be Offered in Black

The second iteration of the Surface Laptop has leaked ahead of Microsoft’s October 2 hardware event. While it is unknown how the specifications and features will differ, mobile phone site MySmartPrice has managed to get images of the device, some of which show the laptop in black.

Most of the changes in the Surface Laptop 2 are meant to be internal. The company will most likely use the latest-generation processors from Intel and a faster memory to go with it. We expect Microsoft to equip its upcoming laptop with 8th Gen. Intel Core series processors, LPDDR4 RAM, and SSD storage. An SD card slot and a USB Type-C port would’ve been nice, but we don’t always get what we want, do we?

Is the screen detachable on these? That's the killer feature I want for these devices. I love the tablet version. I'd replace 2 entire work stations with this.

I want the hard keyboard not that damn felt nonsense. I thought hte screen was detachable on the laptop too.

Just the name Surface confuses me, I always expect it to be the Surface Book with detachable screen. This laptop is a hardware fail imo.

The Surface Pro Book is what you want but I think they've been discontinued?
