I just put together a new AMD Ryzen 2600X build and everything has been working great so far. I just have a few questions about the temp and clock speeds to make sure everything is normal.
Specs;
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Processor
MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon
G.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB
Video card: Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 580 8GB
CORSAIR HYDRO SERIES H100i v2 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler
OS drive: Samsung 960 EVO Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2
Storage Drives: Same SSD/HDD from current system
NZXT S340 Mid Tower Computer Case, Matte Black/Red
Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition Single Fan (TOP)
Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition Single Fan (Rear)
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, 80+ GOLD 750W
The CPU has been idling at 36-42C and in games it has been like 45-60C. Are those good temps?
For some reason the CPU is always idling at 4.1-4.2 GHZ. Is that normal? I thought those are the XFR/PBO speeds that you should see in games and other programs but not when it is idle or just doing basic stuff on your desktop?
