WoW; 7th expansion Battle for Azeroth

Ritorix, thanks for the tips. Yeah that whole stun thing is new to me, never played a class like this before. I need to learn this.

So I'm playing Sub spec now, which specific stealth stuns do I need to have ready ?

I'm starting to get a little bit more comfortable with my Rogue sub spec it's funny now I want to get some of the older hidden artifact appearances and I'm going through and doing the Legion Rogue campaign and having fun doing this. Hopefully this doesn't take too long?

Per Wowhead, I'm on Quest 14 out of 51

"Lack of progression while leveling is something the team understands and wants to address/do better in the future."

I am playing a Sub Rogue, and am Level 115, and I have to say the difference from like 113 to 115 in the same zone feels non existent. When I was 113 going after monsters in the same zone I am 115, feels no different, I would like to think I got more powerful, but it doesn't seem like it

I sort of liked older expansions of having specific levels for each zone in that new continent. Like Outland, we knew Hellfire Pen was the lower level 60 to 62 or so monsters, but that Shadowmoon had the level 68 to 70 bad guys, so if i went back to Hellfire zone at level 68 i was doing way more damage to those Hellfire zone guys, than when i was level 62 in that zone. But today the expansion zones scale along side with you, which I am not really a fan of that idea.

Everything scales now.

I think the Azerite Gear “progression” is pretty shit. Most of the abilities for my Blood DK are super weak and don’t alter the play style at all. I’d much rather have Artifact Weapons back and just have the system take longer to progress through.

I bought the new xpac but Im hearing that because of some changes you no longer feel powerful and that people are taking off gear to stay under 300 which sounds like a bunch of crap.

I cancelled my account this morning.

Might try and get to 120 before my 30 days are up.

Super disappointed to hear this news.

I thought I'd never say this but I'm starting to miss the artifact weapon idea.

I'm sure blizzard could have tweaked it and revised it to what we may have liked but I like the idea of getting one weapon at the start of the expansion and allow that weapon to progress and get more powerful over time over the course of the expansion.

now we're going to have to run Dungeons and raids and hope and pray we get that lucky weapon drop.

And I also liked the artifact weapon appearances, each class and spec had like 8 or so different appearances per spec they can strive for and go after someone take longer than others but it was a fun side quest material to work on.

Remember. They always make us weak as fuck in the beginning of a new xpac.

Reading other forms like MMO champ and the official forums I don't recall reading so much hate for a new expansion like this before?

Players just seemed pissed !!

For a laundry list of reasons seems. Like monster scaling, the RNG on weapon drops. No Tier gear coming at all this expansion. Haste and cool down issues making most classes feel slow and stuck in mud doing thier rotations. Players not feel like their character is progressing when they level up.

My one and only complaint is that it's boring. :(

For the Legion launch I took the day off and played from midnight to 8 while pounding Monster and pizza, took a nap, and then played from noon to midnight. This thing I played for maybe 3 hours on launch day and another 3-4 hours throughout the week and just kinda gave up after that. So clearly something is wrong here.

I still have it installed but I won't be renewing and kinda doubt I'll even play it again before my time expires.

I hit 120 and dropped 1M gold for BoE gear to hit ilvl 320. I just couldn’t bring myself to grind for gear.

I got my rogue up to 116 and got bored then got my monk up to 114 and got really bored, havent logged in since sunday. I'm in some type of a WoW funk.

Ok my first real complaint: World Quests Rewards BLOW! I don't feel like I doing shit or getting just shit for doing some odd shit. I killed one of the big bad Dino's and his buddy to get......................lvl300 wrist...WTF?? In Legion you at least had a chance for it to turn purple and be worth a shit. And I can't find a fucking group to do regular Seige of Boralas to complete the damn Nation United so I can start one of the new characters and boost to 110. I want to try a warrior spec with one of the new races. Which the whole completing a quest to unlock is bullshit, I pay monthly and for the Xpac fuckers.

Oh and the slow, stuck in mud thing. Yeah, slice and dice is more like wittle and knock now. I left Legion happy, satisfied as my Rogue felt well balanced. The deeper I get the more I see what Zorachus is talking about. Why the hell can't they leave well enough alone?

Not into the whole Garrison side missions bullshit either. I hated that from WoD. Just take launch Legion and add the new stuff, not rewrite the fucking manual.

Speak of boredom? I am running my Level 115 through old legion content and loving it. This is a boosted Rogue for BfA so started at 110, but I want some of the cool artifact appearances for my daggers and to do so I need to complete the entire Rogue Campaign, and working on that is actually pretty cool, and a lot of fun. I find doing this campaign to be more fun than questing to level 116 right now in the new areas.

Spet. 4th LFR Raid release, it drops i340+ gear. And Normal Uldir drops i350.

I'm in no hurry to level up to 120, until next that Raid release time, then I'll just run LFR to get better gear, and the Normal.

The problem with that is you’ll run behind on getting AP. They’ve designed the game to be addicting.

Yea, you'll have to grind AP for 6 weeks just to use your new 340 azurite gear :( Seems it's gonna take a while, i'm only at level 15 and it already takes 8000. But it's wow, that's how they design the game.

My bigger problem is i'm just terrible with my priest.

I am only level 116 almost 117, and equally like Sub and back to Sin as well. Outlaw to me just feels more like a hack and slash great PVP spec but doesn't have that ninja sneaking around at night feel to me.

It's funny this is a boosted Rogue and I'm doing the Legion campaign now for the Rogue to get the artifact appearances unlocked, and I am having a blast running through this old content and sin spec it's comical just throw the knives and they go down in a couple of hits.

Not sure which one I'll settle on once I'm geared at 120 it's going to be a toss-up for me sub or sin but everyone saying sub is the number one spec people saying, and sin not good for Mythic and raids?

One thing I like about sin spec it's the simple rotation fewer buttons to push compared to sub and I like sub but it's a rather complicated rotation and things to do to get that amazing DPS. But then also with sin, there seems to be some haste issues waiting on energy. Hopefully once level 120 and in Uldir gear this smooths out?

I go back and forth on Sin and Sub, right now level 117 leveling up. And I am really enjoying the smooth rotation flow of Sin, and just fast attack. Sub is a strange spec to me, the whole Shadow Dance thing is weird, having like a different mode you go into for several seconds to use specific spells, then you pop out of it doing 'pew pew' lame damage afterwards. Yes when in Shadow Dance mode and using ST + Ev it does awesome dps, amazing damage, but once your out of SD, I feel your sol. With only 2 charges of SD, and back to normal spell casting it feels week. You need to pray to god you get the monsters killed in those 2 charges worth of SD window.

Is Sin the least used lowest dps Rogue spec in BfA so far ? I see tons of Sub and Outlaw players, and not too many Sin players.

I have yet to reach 120, so no idea how Sin will play in dungeons, but it seems everyone's raving about Sub as the go to spec right now.

Got my lock started on the world quest grind now leveling shaman. On the plus side I grabbed 6 game time tokens when they dropped to 110k. Thinking about switching to another realm for alliance currently on lightbringer-US and it seems dead.

Anyone play on a fairly high population server alliance side that maybe has a more endgame PVE guilds or players that progress on mostly Sunday late evenings?

Also annoyed at the 250k gold transfer cap but I could just buy more tokens I guess and play for free for awhile.

Still playing the shit out of my disc priest. I've definitely got into a rhythm with it now and started to heal some mythics.

Gear upgrades thus far have felt like they have been decently paced, with a boost at each new tier of dungeon. Heroics jumped me to 325, Mythics 340.

At this point combat feels much improved over the fresh 120. I've got the haste weapon enchant, mostly haste gear, along with a +500 haste proc azerite bonus. So fights start around 20% haste and speed up during the fight as things proc.

So far so good. At revered with most of the factions in the ongoing rep grind. No idea how I'm going to get those damn turtles to revered though.

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. Can still solo a majority of world quest bosses. There a raid finder for the bigger group quests that makes it super easy to use.

That’s being greatly exaggerated. Once you get around 330-340 you’ll outpace the world content scaling. I don’t have any issues at 305 at all and it feels fine to me.

Everyone bitched about the artifact weapons in legion when it first came out to. Things will change as the expansion ages, they ALWAYS do. I like the mob scaling, there is no pre chosen path forcing you to do a specific zone based on your lvl.

My shaman is 120 and I havent even finished stormsong story line yet. Battle for Stromgarde was pretty fun in beta, even though it got repetitive. Was a good way to gear up outside of raid content.

Perhaps I was not clear, I am saying that despite the 'scaling' the game can be played solo and the scaling is not affecting fun. I was referring to the bosses with 1+ million HP to use for the raid finder feature. Don't know about you but I'd rather group up for them and complete the quest in 30 seconds.

I was agreeing with you in regards to whom you were responding to in saying that this has been over exaggerated. The scaling is fine and I’d definitely rather group up with people for the tougher bosses. It’s always been that way. Some will be easy and some will be tough.

On MMO Champion this is being blown way out of proportion. People are whining about the content in the world scaling when in reality you can still outgear it later on anyway. Blizzard responded saying that once you get to 330 or 340 (can’t remember which one) that you’ll start to outgear the scaling aka it only scales so far.

While that is true, almost everyone from my guild complained they started dying a lot after hitting 120 due to the scaling, the mobs are a lot stronger all of a sudden, ofc once you get some better gear this is mostly moot but it is a pain to die to the same amount of mobs you could handle perfectly fine 5 minutes b4 dinging 120.

I haven’t had a single issue with 2 different characters so far. That’s not a world scaling thing anyway. Soon as you hit 120 your stats tank. Been that way since I started playing in Burning Crusade at the start of every expansion. It’s certainly possible that it’s more difficult now than it was then at the start of an expansion but it’s largely overblown in my experience.

I’m having trouble with this too. I had 4 solid hours today where I could have played it but I just watched YouTube videos and tv instead. I just have a hard time getting traction in the game.

do you think upgrading a 4770k would help me get a few more frames?
