Fortnite players who enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in their account security settings will get a free Boogiedown Emote as a reward. I dont play Fortnite but about two weeks ago some Russian asshole tried opening a Epic account using my email address. I was able to update the password but couldn't delete the account, contacting Epic is no help too. Just get a derp response.

Now I constantly get email alerts from Epic that someone is trying to hack my account that I never wanted in the first place. Shit security by Epic.

Nobody needs 2FA, what we need is more complex passwords. A "strong" password has an upper case, a lower case, a number, a symbol, a chinese character, your zodiac sign, a picture of your dog's left paw, and you have to press a function key 3 times while you type it. This is how to make an account secure.
