Hey Gents,

Just letting you guys know I picked up this bad boy due to my failing eyesight to replace my AOC AGON 35QCX 200hz.

Gotta say once properly set up it has not skipped a beat.

There's a pretty decent review, I purchased mine in Australia and can confirm the same settings for input lag and pixel response produced the same results. It also has better pixel response than the AOC somehow, I notice a lot less trailing.

Only thing I had to change is in NVIDIA's control panel I had to set to prefer highest refresh rate as games that did not have a Hz setting required that to be enabled. I leave it at 4k on my desktop for everyday use and switch between 1080p and 1440p depending on the games performance (optimizations etc...).

I can also confirm 4:2:2 chroma is used when in 1440p, I tried 120hz and 119hz both did not result in being able to use 4:4:4. I tried lower refresh rates in the 70's and 90's range but it did not accept the source.

Res I use are:

2160p @ 60hz
1440p @ 120hz
1080p @ 120hz

I tried DSR but it would only accept multiple of the 2160p.

All-in-all I am very happy with this display and it makes FPS and space sims a lot easier to swallow compared to my old ultrawide. Also improves UI compatability obviously with title like Ark: Survival Evolved where it would stretch the screen to the point of looking like a dogs breakfast.

I'm so glad you're happy with the purchase. I'm on my second Samsung UHD TV as monitor, and they are great.

I love 4K res, but 1440p with good anti-aliasing can also look pretty nice, and feel smoother due to 120Hz and FreeSync. And saves performance obviously.

You can also run in "virtual" 21:9. My TV (Q7F) came with a 3840 x 1620 res, but you can easily add one using CRU if it didn't come with it. This can be useful to save performance and get the ultra-wide feel.

Yeah i need to have a crack at cru. I tried nvidias built in type of cru but it was useless.

Ultrawide is good in hunt and even at 1080p it was a non issue. Only thing that looked a bit off were textures. But now i can actually spot stuff.

16:9 also makes conent creation a bit more streamlined as well.
