Blender is an free and open source 3D creation suite which appeals to a demographic ranging from professionals to amateur video editors. Now they want to assist developers with understanding their system's ability to run Blender. A Blender Benchmark has been developed and released as a beta. The benchmark is open data meaning that anyone can view the results, but the data collected is very basic system specifications and of course the benchmark results. A Blender ID can be created that gives users the ability to manipulate what is shown. Just like Blender, the benchmark runs on Linux, Windows, and macOS. New benchmark modules are being discussed and added so go check it out!

We've built the Blender Benchmark platform with maximum focus on transparency and privacy. We only use free and open source software (GNU GPL), the testing content is public domain (CC0), and the test results are being shared anonymized as public domain data -- free for anyone to download and to process further. We believe this is the best way to invite the Blender community to contribute the results of their performance tests, and create a world-class Open Dataset for the entire CG industry.

Love me some benchmarks.

I assume that this one, like the other 30+ I've run will tell me that my 8700k runs HOT!

AI is to the 2010's as Atomic Power was to the 50's.

It is going to fix everything, do everything, and give us automated kitchens and robot slav... er servents to accommodate our every need.

Oh great a new program for people to use to tell other people they are inferior :)

I'll dl and run it later :)

Took 15:00.05 to do something--no idea what the data was--have to sign up/sign in to Blender to view results. Not today

Your Time: 1:13:49:87
Looks like I took over the #1 spot on Fastest CPU with my 5960x
The Program locked up when I clicked Share so I couldn't view results locally to see what the Titan V did..
