These are server racks that a local telecom company was going to throw out. Decided to grab them as they are in EXCELLENT condition. The Great Lakes is actually new, just removed from the pallet. See below for description and links to manufacturers website and pictures. These weigh a TON and you will need two people and a capable dolly to move them. They need at LEAST an 8ft tall box truck. The Newton weighs in at 345lbs and the Great Lakes weighs in at 400lbs.

Bump for some nice racks. How did you transport them home? Sounds like you'll need at least 4 friends to help.

My brother in law and I were able to move these. We are both 6'+ and both workout on the regular. Local pickup only in DFW. I'm located in Celina (75009). We used a 15' Uhaul Box truck to get them home safely.

Thank you for the additional info! Did you guys use a dolly or anything like that?

We used an appliance dolly with multiple straps to keep it steady.
Oh, then it probably wasn't much harder than moving a large refrigerator then. (y) Good to know.

I lol'd twice at the pic. :ROFLMAO:

It's a little worse than a refrigerator because of them being 7' tall. Tough to get through a doorway even when on a dolly.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too after I posted that. It's a lot of weight to have at a 45deg angle on wheels to get through a doorway.
