HI,

Sorry I'm not strong in electronics :) I have a question please,

I want to use my Xbox one X that I bought in Canada (120V) in France (240V),

If I bougth 1000 watts transformer converter it will be enough to make it work in europe? :/

I can not find the exact amperage of the Xbox one X to calculate :/

Thank you very much!

I'd check your Xbox first. It will tell you if it works on 240V. It should, if it is any similar to pretty much any other electronic device out there.

You will only need an adapter for the plug iteself, but no transformer.

Expanding on what prava said, most electronic products are auto-switching these days. You should be able to see on the label above the power supply on the back of the unit. If it says 110-240v or similar then you'll know. You just then need a converter for the plug, or you can get a 240v power cable online.

I have an Xbox One X in the US, so I can check mine after work tonight.

Knew somebody who bought an early model Xbox One and blew it up. At least in the early models, the power supply was not 220/240V compatible. Depending on if they changed that, and if you got one after they started manufacturing them, you might be able to just use what you have. It should say right on the power brick for "input". If you're curious what you're looking for, go find your cell phone charger and look at "input" on it. You'll see that it shows something like "110/220V input". And, if I remember correctly, if your Xbox brick isn't the right one, you can still purchase one online for the appropriate input.
