Android: way to download youtube playlist to MP3?

Is this possible? going on a trip later in the week and would really like to just download a playlist I listen to a lot on youtube.

The legal way would be a YouTube red subscription. You can download playlists in app and play them offline. And yes, you can pick audio only.

Subscribe to YouTube Music (if it's something you would otherwise find on a streaming music service) or YouTube Premium (if it's not). Otherwise, you're just stealing.
