Hot off the low paid engineers at NVIDIA comes the newest driver. A long awaited fix is included in this version: blue screen crashes while playing Gears of War 4. G-Sync stuttering in windowed applications with the latest version of Windows 10 is still open, however. Stuttering is also still present when using monitoring software that polls the video card.

The driver download page isn't loading for me at the moment.

I wonder what this means, exactly:

 Added support for Windows 10 April 2018 Update (Redstone 4)

But I'm not sure I want to install this new bug:

 Using power monitoring in GPU monitor tools causes micro stutter. [2110289/2049879]

The microstutter issue has been there for a long time, going back to at least 2016. This is just the first time NVIDIA documented the problem. It only happens if you're monitoring power usage as far as I'm aware. Voltage, core clock, memory clock, etc. don't trigger the problem.

I switched back to 390.77 after using this one just bothered my eyes you wonder if Nvidia makes more flaws just before a major GPU release so everyone thinks it's their card and not the drivers.

Maybe futile, but...

What about this driver bothered your eyes?

I think it's the HDR they keep tweaking and adding on in the drivers when that stuff started I had problems along with when the 1080ti came out Windows 10 was a blury mess for about a month and a half. So I went with the set they released for Kingdomecome Deliverance I had no problems with that set.

What are the odds that I'm finally getting to Wolfenstein II and run into this bug? I haven't updated drivers in a while since I was pretty happy with the old bugs and didn't want the latest bugs installed. Oh well.
