I'm looking for an adjustable desk monitor arm for a 43" 22.3 lb Sony 43X800E.

Ergotron LX HD Sit-Stand Desk Arm:
https://www.ergotron.com/en-us/products/product-details/45-384#/
It supports up to 46" 30 lb monitor. Newegg has it for $242. Huge adjustable range.

Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm:
https://www.ergotron.com/en-us/products/product-details/45-475#/
It's rated up to 42" and 42 lbs. The Amazon reviews say people are using 43" monitors with it. So, I hope it would work. Provantage has it for $204.

Humanscale M8 Monitor Arm:
https://www.humanscale.com/products/product.cfm?group=m8
It supports up to 40 lbs. But, it's more expensive at $399.

Any other suggestions?

Bump. I am actually curious about this myself as I am going to upgrade to a 43" down the road and would like to know if anyone has experience with this. At a glance I didn't see many youtube videos on large monitor desk arms.

Looking at those, the Ergotron models look good.

Loctek D7L Heavy Duty Gas Spring Swing Monitor Arm - $130~ / 33lb max

Kinda curious about this one. Not sure if I could put an adapter on it for a 200x200 VESA -> 100x100

I have that one for my 43" monitor. It was a pita to get the monitor level. Lg monitor with an adapter plate tilted to one side. Your results may be more successful than mine. I gave up and just kept the monitor on it's stand.
The arm itself is fine Just a lot of tinkering to get it to hold my lg monitor level.

I use this Ergotech Freedom arm on my 40" Samsung. Works great and will hold up to a 30lb monitor. Makes my Samsung look like it's floating above my desk.

I added this adapter plate:

That Ergotech Freedom arm says its good up to about 30.8 lbs. I wonder if it would be too much to put a 43" / 30.7lb monitor on it.

Yep actually the website says not to put a monitor larger than 27" on the freedom arm. However they offer another arm:

7FLEX HD MONITOR ARM

I've got a 40" TV on that arm and it works perfectly. It only weighs about 22lbs, though. I think weight is a more critical factor than screen size for these monitor arms.

From their FAQ:

```
Q: My monitor is larger than 27” but is within the weight range will the Freedom Arm work?
A: Unfortunately the pivot head for the Freedom Arm is not designed to handle larger monitors. The moment load for monitors larger than 27” will put additional strain on the pivot head causing it to fail prematurely and your Freedom Arm will not be covered under warranty.
```

For only $77 bucks, I'll live dangerously and just buy a new arm if this one fails.

Until the failure involves the monitor crashing down from the arm. Then your problem is more than $77. Bad advice. Just get an arm designed to hold the weight of your monitor

I'm not worried about a half inch drop, but thanks for caring.
