This game looks interesting it's on the Steam Top Seller list in 4th place.

Looks interesting. I'm kind of on the fence. I've been watch a lot of Youtube videos on people playing. It seems a little slow but the tank battles look fun. Is the game out or still in early access? Still shows "Coming Soon" on the Steam page.

Purchased it along with some friends.. The game is amazing.

It's the right blend of some realistic stuff like in ARMA, but still accessible. I would not call the game slow, unless you need instant gratification like CoD.

Excellent, I will probably pick this up then. Been wanted to play a WW2 game on a modern engine for so long.

I have not had the chance to watch anything on youtube yet, but is this similar to RO2?

It’s a bigger better game. It’s more like ARMA but a bit more accessible.

The graphics and sound design blow every other WW2 game out of the water.

The sound is awesome, though I've got a couple nits to pick with it. For example, the Bf-109 doesn't have it's distinctive whistle when it flies by. Not a big deal, but it makes the 109 sound too similar to the Spit. Visually it's pretty cool. I especially like the DoF on the rifles when scoped. The binos are really well done too. I'm not sure why, but they really gave me the effect of looking through two "scopes" that combined into one picture. Moreso than any game I've ever played before.

There's a few problems with it. IFF is horrible. I swear that I've been killed by teammates more than by the enemy, but, of course, there's no way to know that. You get no feedback whatsoever when you die. It would be cool if they just told you, "Killed by enemy fire" or "Killed by friendly fire", but they don't. Wounding sucks too. Apparently, if you get shot anywhere, you are immediately, fully incapacitated. You can't even drag yourself out of harm's way, ever.

It reminds me a WWII Online/Battleground Europe in gameplay, which I consider a pretty good thing. You have to work with your section, or you have no clue where the enemy is. I've been in some great ones, and in some horrible one - nobody communicates. For some reason, people role-play in this game. It's entertaining. The local voice chat is great. Last night I was playing and bunch of people got shot as we were moving up through the woods. Suddenly, I heard a bunch of people calling out, "Medic" with varying degrees of drama. ;)

I prefer the 1 hit kills for the rifles, and you aren't technically killed just knocked out to where a medic can revive you. If you didn't have the 1 hit kills the game wouldn't capture the tension that it currently does and it really demonstrates how powerful a properly positioned machine gun squad can be in locking down a flank.

Yes, friendly fire is an issue, but you quickly learn the colors even from great distance and keeping the map in mind where your team mates are helps.

Actually, P.S. (post script) means it's something added after the "script" or signature. So it would be more like....

"Mom

P.S. I forgot to mention that this is a post script."

what kind pc specs and preformance are you guys getting?

I have an overclocked 5820k and a 1080Ti. The game is running great @ 1440p with 'high' settings.

The explosions in this game look incredible. The visual and audio of a dive bomber coming in and seeing the shockwave from a bomb drop is incredible, and getting your cover blasted with a 40mm cannon while entertaining really sucks.

what kind of fps are you getting? if I can get at least 60 fps with my 1070 id probably buy it.

Tried it out but ultimately refunded it, the gameplay was just too slow for me - I think ARMA 3 is still the best military sim game out there.

IMO ARMA is slower. You get in conflict pretty fast in this game if you want it.

Ultimately if played right some folks on some flanks won’t have as much contact, but I just don’t agree that this is a slow game unless you’re used to more arcade style shooters.

I am going to have to give this a try. Some games these days completely slip under the radar.

Game looks ten times better than anything out there I like there isn't no stupid mini map where people lock onto you like a heat seeking missile. Still haven't pre-ordered it since it was 10% off at one time.

I'm going to buy when it releases. but if performance is bad I'll get a refund.

does anyone know if there is separate sensitivity for ads?

Try to fix what?

I wish the 109 had that whistle (supercharger whine?) that it does in real life.

I meant you were right, they need to fix the sound to make it closer to the 109 . It shouldn't sound that close to a Spitfire.

Game Unlocks next week on July 18th this game looks alot more fun than any game I seen out there.
Military simulation wise....

It's one of my favorite FPS's currently.

My only real complaint with the game is vehicles getting stuck on stupid shit like fences. It's the only thing that really breaks the immersion.

Release date postponed, Beta access from next week.
JULY 12 - =BOB=BREIZHOO
Dear PS Community,

We want to thank everyone for your support and helping us with our previous week-end tests of Post Scriptum. It has been truly amazing for us to see the positive reception during our past public playtests from live streams to the comments being shared. However, we realize that there are still bugs and issues keeping you from enjoying the game to the fullest. We really value you as our community and want to ensure our game is the best we can have it for release.

After this past weekend test, we recognize that there are still issues with bugs and optimization that we would like to be resolved before we release the game. Based on our internal QA process, we were under the impression our optimization had undergone significant advancements. But after collecting a higher volume of performance reports from our public testing weekend, we realize there is more work to be done in order to get the game to a fully optimized state.

With that being said, as hard as a decision it is, we have decided to postpone our release date until the second week of August in order for us to resolve issues around optimization and bugs. Being a small independent team has made this decision difficult as many of us have worked 3 years on Post Scriptum. We really want to make the best impression we can when it comes to release and not put out something we know ourselves has issues.

Instead of releasing an unoptimized game on July 18th, we would like to open up a 24/7 open beta period until our new release date. This will allow you to still enjoy and play the game, while helping us collect vital information to resolve all bugs and optimization issues in time for release. Post Scriptum is currently feature complete, and this beta period will allow our team to allocate all resources to bug fixing and optimization.

All pre-orders will obtain instant access to the beta period when it is live and the game on full release.

Open Beta Content
- Dedicated Server files for public use
- 24/7 Access to the game
- All core game features
- Pre-order gives instant access
- Ability to report bugs, feedback and glitches
- Consistent updates with fixes

Once again we want to thank you all for your support and we are eager to get you playing Post Scriptum as soon as possible.

not surprised. when I watched the top streamer over the weekend play he was saying the servers kept crashing. then a few minutes later the server crashed. he must have had his graphics low cause the game looked like ass and he was only getting 50-60 fps. also the soldier animations look really janky. I'm surprsied it took them 3 years to make this cause it looks like a copy of squad, just reskinned. I still want to buy it when they get things ironed out.

I had zero issues/crashing problems in early beta. Seems like adding more features has made the game less stable.

I'm just wondering who's stupid idea was it to make the "Benchmark" button different than what it means in every other game. Also the game runs like absolute shit-just like Squad, for all the low geometry objects and low res textures scattered throughout the map.

I find it acceptable given that all foilage is rendered. That's the big difference between this game and most others that makes it far more realistic. When you're hiding under a bush you're almost completely invisible as you would be in real life, and people can't just turn down foilage settings to see you. This is one of my biggest gripes with modern titles. Playing PUBG feels no different than when I was playing Novalogic's Delta Force 15+ years ago where you easily see everyone at a distance because foilage isn't rendered.

I guess they had a Beta going on since the 19th of July untill August 9th when the game is released going to try it out today bugs and all.

This game is pretty hardcore not really sold on the slow movment nothing like Battlefield series at all.
Seen a Tank just blow up in front of me then someone with a heat sinking sniper rife got me twice in a row.

You have to remember that having optics in this game makes a HUGE difference. It's why to keep balance there are only four snipers 50/50 per game. Similar to LMG's a sniper can lock down a flank no problem.

The explosions in this game are fantastic.

Good looking game but don't know how much time I'll spend with it seems Tanks spawn like once a match even then you are the driver. It's not like Battlefield this game doesn't have any hand holding at all which is why I kinda like it wish it was a little more refined though it's like poor mans battlefield but it's really immersive. I just wish a Fantasy MMO was this good looking that would be great.
