GIGABYTE GTX 1060 MINI ITX OC 6GB $170 in the CDW Outlet

Thanks, ordered one. Should be an upgrade to my 570 and this card claims to have 2 DVI ports for my old but still good pair of Dell Ultrasync 24". Makes it a drop in rather then having to order conversion cables or gizmos.

I'm curious how you search for these prices on their website? I can't seem to find any of the deals you've posted just searching on their website on my own.

Would really love a good price on a 1050ti if they ever have one. (Thanks for posting these, I was really surprised by the low profile cards you posted, those are going for twice as much anywhere else)

So many people are going to try and order 50 or more of these and ruin it for everyone else.

Awesome. Enjoy! (y)

It's a trade secret! :blackalien: NAH!

So it's not only CDW that has deals like this--many retailers have an open box area or closeout section that you can search. For CDW, there's a small link at the bottom right for 'outlet'. I just do a search for the word 'graphics'. It works just as well for 'ddr4', 'ssd', etc. ;) Here's one of the results I got when I looked for '1050', but it might have already been sold. It doesn't hurt to call though and check stock:
https://www.cdw.com/product/GIGABYTE-GTX-1050-TI-OC-4GB-PCIE-BS/5126922?pfm=srh

Provantage has another great open box section and techforless is an entire retailer for open box stuff. I've bought lots of super-cheap gear this way with a condition only next to new. Insight, PCconnection and more retailers that I can't think of atm.

I actually find this perverse joy in finding something cheap, even if I won't buy it or don't need it.

Um, wow. That is a really good price for a 6GB 1060 card.
GREAT DEAL
I thought so too! (y)

haha, more than likely there's only one anyways, so it doesn't hurt. Usually, the 'in-stock' will change to something else if it's not available anymore.

But there was one time where I posted something on another site and at least 30-40 people were able to order and take advantage of it, so ymmv. (y)

Great to know, thank you :D It worked for me!

Great deal!

If I go to cdw.com and search I don't see this stuff.
If I google CDW outlet, then pick the top site, then use the "search CDW outlet" search box then I can find these. Search by typical hardware lingo: GTX, Radeon, motherboard, etc and you'll find these.

Yep, that's the ticket. (y) And this works on others sites too, like provantage. You can even search specific part numbers, which sometimes works better when a description was wrong and that's the only reason the item was returned in the first place (to be re-listed online with the wrong description).

Hopefullly my order goes through. Thanks for the heads up.
If you placed the order online, I'd call them with the order number and see what the status is. If the CDW part number is 'out of stock', then there was probably only one and someone else got it. :( Otherwise it can take up a week for the system to let you know this.

The good thing is you aren't charged until it ships (like many other reputable companies). :)

Great price if the orders go through. I got the 3GB version of this card around launch for the same price. It's been solid.

Great to hear! It's amazing how much the prices have gone up if it's down to the original launch price.

I just about got mine delivered today. UPS decided to not ring my doorbell and just leave the "Sorry we missed you" tag instead.

I just ordered mine, got a email conformation. does that mean i got one? has yours shipped yet?

yea and there is no way to check the order status... only way is to check the shipping status with the product number
Main cdw.com web site, either on the main page slightly below the fold and all the way at the bottom you'll see a link for order status:
https://www.cdw.com/shop/purchases/quickstatus.aspx

But in my experience it doesn't work too accurately. :( Best thing to do is call in with your order number to get a tracking number. No tracking number means it hasn't shipped and then you can ask why and they can look into it right then.

why does it say get a quote only? I've never ordered from CDW before. So I fill out the info, said a sales rep would contact me?

I use CDW as a vendor for work and their shipping is almost always amazingly quick. We aren't a large company but we often get stuff in 2 days for standard shipping. Apparently they have warehouses everywhere. I can't say their pricing is as competitive as some sites but they do truly seem to have their stuff together when it comes to shipping and they will price match or get it close.

I think it's out of stock. They probably want you to call so they can find something else to sell you instead.

Just got a product discontinued/order cancelled email and phone call for the 1060.

Good deal , would have totally gotten one but have no need for it, have a 1080 ti in my main rig and this would have not been an upgrade for my bro's 970 SC. Congrats to those who got in.

Mine arrived and is installed and working. While the Gigabyte box had CDW sealing tape, the static bag still had an unbroken Gigabyte tape. The two DVI ports made it a drop in install.

Just picked up my card from UPS and I'm not very happy. I expected a new card, and it isn't, or I don't think so anyway.
The box has brown tape over the UPC and serial number on the bottom.
On the left side there is a sticker that seems to say "B Stock", but it's partially covered up by a strange Gigabyte sticker.
The card inside the box is in an anti-static bag with gigabyte tape, but there is a hole/slot worn in the bag over the 4 pin fan header area on the back of the card. Because of this slot/hole in the bag I can see the 4 pin fan header very well. It looks funny. 2 pins are nice and shiny with good soldering, but not the other 2. These other 2 are dull, burnt looking, and soldered differently.
I'm not sure I want to bother testing it. Maybe I should just return it instead of rolling the dice and taking a chance.
I'll have to check warranty too. Last I knew Gigabyte had warranty based on serial. Of course with the 4 pin looking burnt I'm not sure warranty through Gigabyte would be honored. Maybe they would say I did this and it's not covered.
Decisions, decisions....
