Was playing Mass Effect tonight using a GTX 1080 FTW ... it used 16% on Ultra
and it came to mind the GPU I used to use years ago that could barely pull
a constant 60 FPS and that was with textures on medium but ...

I still think it's the slickest looking GPU card of all time ... is that cooler Zalman?

ASUS 20th Anniversary GTX 980 Gold Edition with black paint even on the steel by the displayports and a gold DVI connector.

It's hard to pick just one.

I always thought the blue PCB Albatron used was classy, and they paired it with some crazy fan designs.

The Galaxy/Galax HOF editions are also BA looking with the high contrast and striking white PCB. I also love how every component on the surface of the PCB is clearly marked and laid out. The original 780 Ti is still my favorite.

I'm also a fan of the so-called "Titan" cooler introduced with the original GTX Titan to the modified one we have today on Pascal. But how cool was it that they not only made the one on the GTX Titan X black, but it was also made of magnesium alloy? Just hope it never catches fire, am I right?

Always liked the era of big solid Copper sinks - before heat pipes took over.

AGP cards ...
BFG 7800 vs Leadtek 6800. The 6800 is 'NU' model which can be hacked with Riva Tuner to open extra pipes making it same as the GT.
Won the silicone lottery on that one. Great overclocker. Especially after lapping the heatsink.
Could not hold a candle to the 7800 of course.

I'm a fan of the old printed cards anything with a digital image I think the GPU industry got away from it for whatever reason.

I have that exact same BFG 7800GS. Runs super cool and overclocked well too.

I always liked the Toxic 5850. Bought one earlier this year just to see in person.

I really liked the Hercules/Guillemot GeForce 2 cards. Blue cards, blue-anodized heatsinks, custom layout, etc. I've seen more impressive looking ones since here and there, but those Hercules cards just had a nice thing going for the time. (when a lot of other cards were standard green or puke-brown PCBs)

While I mistreated her and sold her during the mining boom, I still think my R9 Fury Nitro was a sexy card.
