If you have a PC VR setup (Rift/Vive) and even remotely like music rhythm games, then this game is a no-brainer. Trust me, just get it.

My arms are about to fall off... Who knew a light saber/fruit ninja/guitar hero mash-up could be so much fun?!

The developers are also releasing a level editor soon so folks can add their own music/level design:
https://steamcommunity.com/games/620980/announcements/detail/1662269345678184305

There's also already an unofficial mod that lets you do so - here's a site with a bunch of custom levels/songs that can be added: https://beatsaver.com/

And Reddit is a pretty good resource as to the latest on this mod.

It's a fun game. Finally able to get through Balearic Pumping on expert although I'm still no better than a rank C.

I bought this earlier today. Lot of fun but I don't think the walls work very well with a Samsung headset; I have to move my whole damn body for most of them and some of them I can't avoid no matter what.

Otherwise it works great. Hoping for some custom Metallica or The Prodigy songs soon.

This game is super fun.

It’s the first game that I can’t play for long because of fogging up issues. Never happened in my Rift until I got this game!

I hope they add more tracks because it is a bit light at the moment

Read my first post again, with more feeling this time. :) There are well over 300 hundred custom tracks out now that have been created by fans of this game. You just need to use this song injector mod utility which works great. Once installed, you can download whatever customized tracks you want to add from this site: www.beatsaver.com Just place them into the game's "CustomSongs" folder. Fire up the game, select solo play, and wham, you now have lots more to play.

Bought it day it came out. This game makes you feel like a BAMF. Don't even know why. Something about just hacking and slashing to some awesome music with light sabers just feels amazing. Must buy. Killer App no doubt.

Just bought this today after all the rave reviews. Definitely cool. I just wish I didn't have to have a hot thing strapped to my sweaty face while I play it. :p

I know how ya feel. This has been the only game to get me nasty sweaty in the HMD.

I'm thinking about getting that 'pleather' VR Cover for my Rift as I hear it prevents fogging up of the HMD and will also greatly improve the ability to wipe the wetness off the headset.

Where DDR failed to give people actual dance moves this game excels at training MDMA glow stick wavers’ abilities.

They should add a difficulty beyond expert titled “On drugs?”.

How are people doing those overlays showing them in the game? It's chromakey (green screen), but how to you get the camera view like that? Built in to game?

So far fun game, few hours in to it and I finally beat my first expert song ($100 bills) and i have managed A and B on all the hard modes. Some of the custom songs are a blast to

Just ordered one. Was a bit skeptical but it's getting pretty good reviews.
cool! ba dum ching :) I remembered seeing it ages ago then you posted... reviews looked good and you can barely build one for that price. youll have to let us know how it is.

ahh man EDM and VR light sabers looks epic. gonna have to jump on this.. hopefully i got enough room though! im always paranoid of swinging my arms and hitting something in my room lol

my beat saber catalog is 80+ songs and my wife and i LOVE IT

So I got this awhile back and just got around to installing it. One of the fans is WAY louder than the other with a lot of vibration, so I'm guessing maybe it's defective. I emailed support to see what they say.

If I stop the loud fan, the other one is very quiet and seems to work well.

After downloading lots of custom songs, im ashamed to say Taylor Swift - Shake it off is one of my favorite to do so far, was never a big fan of the song but the beat map and the song go really well with the game lol. Whats your guys favorites so far?

I managed to trip and crack my elbow/wrist a couple weeks ago and have been missing beat saber so much :( started physio yesterday so hopefully back at it soon..

sorry to hear that did you do it while playing beat saber or was it totally non-vr related?

Finally bought the game and it's just great, though I really want the ability to turn off the obstacles. On some songs I think I might slam into something if I really go for it to make the timing for a side to side movement. Even though I have just barely enough space qualify for a room scale setup, I have hit my TV enough times that I am pretty much planted to a single spot in all games as much as possible.

As a follow-up to this, support agreed that it was a defect and sent me a new unit, free of charge. New one is much quieter - there's still a little bit of vibration and hum but it's not noticeable over game sounds (and expected with tiny fans right next to your face).

It actually works surprisingly well - before I would be dripping with sweat, now I still get a bit warm but it's nothing compared to before. It also seems to cut down on fogging inside the headset significantly. I'd recommend it...plus their support is very responsive.

I like this game more and more. I’ll tell you... 15-30 minutes in the morning wakes me up way more than covfefe ever could.

Also not sure if this was posted but I noticed large swipes gave higher points. I think that’s great because it promotes movement. Looked it up and it was true... I can get B scores on most songs on hard. I don’t even bother with expert. I don’t find memorizing to that level fun.

The expert mode is totally brutal. My reflexes are way too dam old for that.

Been hesitant to try the custom songs because I felt modders would not adhere to the existing gameplay mechanics and now that I have tried them....I gotta say that I was right to be hesitant.

Every custom song I've tried so far adds such bullshit maneuvers that stray so far from the game's established moves that I can't help but completely hate them. There's also no consistency when it comes to the verse/chorus patterns like there is in the main game. It's like the modder's just make the blocks come at you at such a ridiculous random rates with arrows that make no sense just for the sake of it. Ughh.

Same shit happened back in the day with custom DDR songs and then with custom Guitar Hero songs. People think every single note and beat needs four to five steps, button presses, or, in this case, arm swings. It's stupid and not fun. I ain't autistic and I couldn't give a single flying shit about that fucking dumbass Dragonforce song.

I seriously can't wait for the devs to add more tunes.

God Damn is better than the dev songs imo.

I know what you mean though. A decent amount of badly setup songs to wade through.
