Logitech G305 Wireless gaming mouse

Well, what do yall think? I'd consider it if they release a rgb version for say $10 more. watched a review did not convince me to switch away from my g303.
I think my next mouse will still be wired.

The latency issue with wireless mice is really already there. If the cost and weight premium continue to go down I might go wireless next time.

I like the shape a lot. I've become a big fan of smaller, lighter, ambidextrous mice. Loved the G303.

I'm convinced that Logitech has improved their wireless tech to the point that it's not an issue any longer. I can't tell you how many wireless mice that I tried over the years where people claimed that the response matched a wired mouse. Came away disappointed every single time until the G900. The G900 (and presumably other wireless mice from that generation) truly does feel like it's wired. Movement is extremely crisp and responsive, and I've never experienced any stutter or drop-outs. I put my G900 right next to my G Pro and I bet if the shape of the mice were the same, I wouldn't be able to tell which was which in a blind test. So that's no longer a concern, for me anyway.

The sensor looks promising. Only reservation I have is regarding the mouse's durability. Assuming the specification on the product page are correct, the L and R buttons are only rated for 10 million clicks. Compare this to the G403/G603/G900 and G703/G903 which are rated for 20 million and 50 million clicks, respectively. It may not be an issue, but considering the price of this mouse is comparable with some of those, I'd expect it to be built with the same durability in mind.

Although I like the shape, I'll probably give it a pass. I see no reason to switch from my G900 until it starts giving me issues but if I caught one of these on sale for a good price I might pick it up just to give it a try.

Did the G Pro have a little texture to the sides? I don't remember it being textured before I sold it like the G305 I've been using for the last couple days.

I am loving the G305 right now and all the buttons are just perfect including the middle mouse.. seems like the QC is a lot better now?

I didn't like the G Pro that much.. but it seems to have the same shape as the G305... but the texture part is what I don't remember on the G Pro so I sold it and kept my G303, Owl Eye, and Nixeus Revel. I don't feel the difference between this mouse or any of the other mouses at all. Also owned the G403 wireless but the shape sucked for me.

I got the white one so I am not sure if the rough texture is different due to the paint vs. the black version but the additional grip from this mouse is a game changer compared to the G Pro for me.

I love this mouse. I got Energizer lithium AAA batteries with a AAA to AA adapter to make it lighter. Love the shape, weight and side button placement.

Which adapter and batteries did you get exactly? Thanks.

The G Pro has a more a expensive and durable UV coating so it feels different compared to the G203. The G Pro has had different switches (high rated durability) than the G203 as well which resulted in a different feel.

The G305 is a wireless iteration of the G203 and not the G Pro. So it shares the characteristics of the G203.
