EK, a once heralded name in the enthusiast water cool world, has come under a lot of fire in the recent years for shoddy build quality, and even we have put the spotlight on some of its underperforming and overpriced cooling components. To its credit, it did apologize for that product, and gave you a $25 EK coupon when buying your next EK cooler. While many have come to shun the company, it is branching into an entirely new customer base, fully built custom cooled PCs for those of us here in the USA, and started shipping this month. No matter your thoughts on EK, these dual radiator configurations will certainly catch a lot of folks' eyes. This is likely a good business model for EK as it brings it to a market that would previously had no exposure to its brand. Thanks cageymaru.

They only offer soft tube configurations. Fail #1. They only offer Nvidia graphics cards. Fail #2. They are significantly overpriced compared to others. Fail #3. No thanks. I will go with a similar build with a Vega 64 for $2300 somewhere else instead...then upgrade to water cooling on my own.

No Intel and what appear to be shockingly high prices. I am an AMD fan, but still, limiting themselves to AMD seems short sighted. I have at EK Predator and water block on my Titan X (pascal) and do like them, but ouch, those prices.

The price isn't out of the ballpark. If you bought all new parts, I figure about $600 for all the wc components (inc fittings), $180 for mb, $200 for cpu, $750 for gpu (1080ti), $200 for ssd, and $150 for case. Total, about $2080, ±$300? Oh, forgot to figure in price of ram and the psu, too, so maybe more.

It's easier to ensure there are no leaks in a pre-filled system if you use soft-tubing, so it's better for this product than hard-tube. Sure, hard-tube might look better, but for someone who simply wants the cooling performance of a custom loop without having to source the parts and put it together themselves, that's not so important.

So ship the coolant separately, and have the customer fill the system once it's delivered...I get the reasons, but it seems to me they could at least offer the OPTION of hard tubing.

With hard tubes there's higher risk of damage during shipping, thus higher risk of leaking. Overall, their pricing is very high and what you get. Top of the line machine that's over $4K and no 1080ti option. Not sure if it's the same with builders but some are not allowed to sell a 1080ti or customize it (nVidia policy?). Either way, seem a bit too little for too much. Perhaps only redeeming factor is warranty covers the whole build, so likely if it leaks, they will cover it whereas with AIO or self built loop, you're SOL.
