Old model SSD in a new build?

I have several older model SSD 's that are brand new, never been used and still sealed in their anti-static bag and was just wondering if there would be any issue with installing them into a couple new builds I'm planning.

I was thinking about getting a couple of new M.2 NvMe drives since both systems support it. But since one machine will only be used for occasional light gaming and office apps, the other not used for gaming at all, and neither machine will be used for large file transfers.

So rather than spend money on M.2 NvME drives, would I even notice a real-world difference when doing everyday computing tasks in Win10 with these older SSD's?

System 1: ASRock DeskMini w/ i5-7500 - 8GB RAM - Intel HD Graphics 630
System 2: ASRock X370 PRO4 w/Ryzen 5 2600 and 16GB RAM GTX 1060

Anyway, I know they're old tech but they've never been used and I doubt I'd get much for them on eBay.
Anything wrong with using them in the new system builds described above?

Thanks for the quick replies. For what I'll be using them for I didn't think I'd notice any difference either but thought I'd ask

Now just wondering which drives to use in which machine since I have two identical M550 512GB drives and one large capacity 960GB drive.

NVME honestly only is faster for installing windows and benchmarks. In day to day use I largely can’t tell the difference.

Yep anything over 550MBps is purely benchmark fantasy fodder in 99% of cases.

A lot of people moaned about the V300 drives but I bought around 30 of them back in the day. Not one has failed, rock solid.

I just upgraded an older system (Intel 2600K) with a brand new but 5 year old Intel SSD. The SSD was discovered recently... I didn't know i had it. 480gb Intel 730 IIRC.

Old SSDs will work fine. Use them until they die.
