I know more than few people that use devices like the Fitbit in order to keep themselves aware of their "health." MIT Tech Review is reporting that Livestock Labs is onto something that might help you shed those few pounds a bit quicker. An under-skin Bluetooth device that will transfer information about your chewing frequency. Now if we can get a talking frequency indicator, then maybe some people would know when to shut the hell up, me included.

These cows are the first to try a device called EmbediVet, created by a startup named Livestock Labs. For now, they’re just going about their normal lives, unintentionally providing data that helps train an artificial neural network. The hope is that in the near future, this AI will help farmers figure out quickly and easily how well cows and other livestock are eating, whether they’re getting sick or about to give birth...

Cows be like, "ROMGZ, electronic monitoring, breach of privacy, personal data being collected AND kept WITHOUT PERMISSION HOLEEE FUCK AI IS GOING TO KILL US ALLLLL .... oh, wait, I'm a fucking cow ..." <goes back to chewing hay>

P.S.
[1st Cow] "Do you think AI will kill us all?"
[2nd Cow] "They've been killing us and eating us for 6000 years, and now you're worried that an artificial intelligence, which would be one of the few things on the planet that won't eat us, might decide to kill us?"
[1st Cow] "Just a thought..." <goes back to chewing hay>
