Apparently this is a big annoying issue with these keyboards.. mine sounds like a bunch of springs pinging off each other when I type on it. I had thought about maybe using some deadner or closed cell foam on the inside to dampen the noise. Anyone else notice this? It's pretty damn annoying!

Returned the board for another hoping this was a one off issue. It's not and its the most annoying sound I have ever heard out of a key board. It has this ping and wang to it that lasts. Played on the Steel series TKL and it felt cheap. Was not happy with it's feel at all.. such a shame as I love the look of this keyboard and the feel of typing on it but I dont like the noise its makes

I'm not sure what noise you're talking about. The space bar and shift have a bit of noise, but so do every other mechanical I've used.

I found a group of guys with same complaints.. I am on my 2nd board and still had the same problem.. so I returend it and got a Corsair Rapid Fire RGB. Way better.. no noise and honestly the switches seem better. I think I can even type faster on it. Happy now.. the large springs in the Romer G are just noisey..

i was gonna get the logitech g pro tenkeyless board so glad i didn't

I can't believe there are so many positive reviews when I hear a WANG PING sound every time I typed on it. I was very unhappy with it. The MX keys feel better anyways. The MX Speed keys feel really nice.

Hard to say whether it's the spring or leaflets on the Romer-G switches at a glance, but it's not uncommon for the springs in Cherry MX style switches to ping as well. In Cherry MX style switches, it's caused by the spring twisting/shifting upon compression and can be fixed by reseating the spring until it stops or applying a small amount of heavy grease to it (the spring).

The space bar is the only key I can get a ping sound from on my G910 Orion Spark. It's much easier to get the cherry reds to ping on my Corsair K90 and K95. It probably has more to do with the board than the keys.

I have a G910 Spectrum and G810 and neither have this pinging sound you are talking about.

Search internet. Another thing is my office is all tile so sounds like that tend to amplify. My WASD and Corsair boards are fine. Both Cherry MX. Two Logitech pro Keyboards in a row had this noise. I was really disappointed although the Corsair Rapid Fire K70 is excellent. I disliked my first attempt with Corsair because of the keys have some wobble. Found others who complained as well. This new Rapid Fire is great tho. Very happy.
