ASUS X99 Motherboard Series - Official Support Thread

I am also wondering if there will be a BIOS update given that Intel blessed code for the X99 over a month ago. If we even had word that it was "in the works" the sentiment would be much better than this empty vacuum. Asus has not responded to emails, the chat folks didn't know and recommended that I email, and this thread is about a last straw.

Sorry to be any bother to forum members. My Asus patience is getting thin.

Hello all,

I have a X99-A with a 5820K@stock. It's been working pretty well as an editing workstation for many years.
In the past weeks it has been doing weird stuff:
- Reporting ridiculously high values in the 12v input (between 13v~20v). This shows both in BIOS interface and AI Suite 3 as well.
- Randomly refusing to boot from a cold start.

Things I've tried:
- Replaced PSU.
- Reset BIOS settings by unplugging battery.
- Flashed latest BIOS (3801).

I had this issue with my Gigabyte UD3P board..I also have a 5820k in it. Try taking the memory out, leaving one stick in it, and booting. First to test each memory stick. Then add 1 at a time, rebooting each time, to see if its DIMM slot that is going bad. On my board it was a the 3rd dimm slot. Swapped it at Micro Center a long time ago..

Thanks KedsDead for the input! Tried all of that, each of the 8 slots with only 1 DIMM, no luck :(
At this point it seems the MB is toast, I'll see if I can find a replacement in the local market, oh well...

I am using a ASUS X99 Deluxe MoBo, and I am having troubling with my sata ports. I have 12 various hard drives and devices hooked up to all 12 sata ports, including the sata express spots. It's my understanding that I should be able to use all 12 ports, but the ones under P6, E1 and E2 are not detected. I have done various testing and drives will get detected in those slots, but some of the other ports are empty. Is there anyway to get all 12 ports working?

I e-mailed them a couple weeks ago and was assured there's NO update coming for any X99 boards except what has already been released due to EOL.
