Razer has joined the ranks of companies that want to sell you games. Their platform is the Razer Game Store and they will sell you a Steam or Uplay game code that will earn you rewards towards a Razer product. Overall I like what they're doing and since I like some of their products I'll always take a look to see what kind of deals they have to offer. It's good to see more competition in this market.

If you purchase a game through Razer Game Store, you will get a code that you can redeem on Steam or Uplay and earn rewards that you can apply to other products. Those rewards include exclusive offers, Razer Game Store vouchers, and discounts on peripherals. The company is also integrating its zSilver loyalty system into this platform, and customers can exchange those accumulated points for even more Razer hardware.

has razer upped their product durability recently?

If not, even the vouchers and discounts on razer peripherals are not enough to persuade me to use their store.

As long as it doesn't require me to use yet another DRM client to play my games I'm okay with it. If they're just selling Steam, Uplay, or Origin codes that's fine by me.

agree with you there.

Looking at the sale prices I see no deals that we haven't already seen on Steam. Yawn.

ITT: People who think this is a game client, not a rewards program (a glorified referral service with Razer in the beneficiary's seat).
There is no game client. It's all on Steam/Uplay.

That's how I feel. Since like what? 2011, the durability of their products have been trash. I stopped buying them about 2 years ago. Got a couple useless Blackwidow Ultimate keyboards and a couple mousepads. I should pull the keys off and toss the board, but I'm lazy.

It's just a crappier version of Humble Bundle, G2A, etc.
