Moto G5 4GB/64GB for the 3 GB/32GB price

Thanks for posting.

The real big problem here is that you can find Google Pixel XL's for around $250 which destroys most phones. At least in my area.

i mean you're trying to compare a new in the box unlocked phone with a used phone.. if you want to go that route you can find the G5 plus used for around 100 dollars.. i have zero complaints with my G5 plus other than the fact that oreo still hasn't been released for it yet but meh everything else works great on it for being a budget price phone. can't really comment on the camera since all i use it for is taking a picture of my work schedule each week.

and it works with verizon which made it a royal pain in the ass trying to find which phones did and didn't work with them. verizon needs to get their shit together because it's ridiculous that only a small portion of the cell phone market actually work on their network.

Yeah, thanks for posting the deal. for $250 for a new phone is very appealing. I heard these were good phones.

I guess I took my own reply out of context. When you mentioned the camera wasn't that great was when I thought about how the Google Pixel XL had a fantastic camera for around $250. I should have mentioned that.

Again, thanks for posting.

Great deal!

Love my G5. Camera not the greatest, but it's good. Especially good enough for a universal unlocked octocore phone for 220.00...

Whaaaaat? The camera on the G5/G5Plus is probably one of the best things about the phone (aside from coming with a nearly unmolested version of Android). Seriously, short of flagship phones like the S8/S9/LGG6/LGV30/Pixel, the G5/G5Plus camera is pretty damn fantastic. :D

Seriously folks, they're pretty great phones for the money.

I really wish they would make a true update to the Moto X Pure. Now THAT was an epic phone. STILL one of the best cameras you can get almost 3 years after it was released.

Odd i actually think the camera is one of the worst things about the phone. Like trying to take pictures of things up close the camera is awful at focusing. I was trying to take a picture of a bent pin on a motherboard last night and couldn't get any up close picture to work properly. Used my GF's S8+ and immediately could zoom in super close and see it easily.

I came from an LG G4 and liked that camera much more. It did a much better job at macro and autohdr and low light noise reduction than the motoG5. The motoG5 isn't terrible, but it is nowhere near market leading. That being said - for the price and capabilities of the phone, you really can't complain.

This is pretty much THE best deal for a Verizon user out there, IMO.

The g5 and plus is a pretty average camera. Well lit photos will be decent but low light is terrible at best. Otherwise a solid phone which should get 8.0 soon. But with Lenovo owning it I worry the Moto line will start to go down hill.
