DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

What brand / model keyboard, is that? ... I'm looking for a tenkeyless board, and that might fit the bill...

Oh, and great cable management, by the way! I have a Silverstone, and want to find replacement modular cables, just to neaten the cable situation.

It's a TriC 75, a custom kit sold from a group buy a year ago.
I don't think there's any way to buy the kit now other than buying a used pre-assembled one, if you're lucky.
The switches are 65g zealios and the keycaps in that picture are EnjoyPBT blanks.
I'm using DSA Carbon keycaps now though, less muted, more IN-YOUR-FACE.

If you're interested in a similar looking one that's available now though, KBD75 is a popular choice.
or if you don't want to assemble and solder yourself, there are some from Drevo and Vortex I believe.

I use aquaero 5LT

It's to make sure the fan intakes air only from outside the case and does not recycle it

How high is the gasket?

It's 92 wide / long, I know that much... but how high are they?

No worries if you don't know or can't really say. (The website linked doesn't specify either, but am grateful for the link anyway, thanks.)

Nice – that's very clean.

For mine I used loops of monofilament fishing line. It's strong, nearly invisible, and minimizes contact with the copper.

good idea but why worry about the copper, its stronger than the plastic. looks-wise I get you point but thats subjective.

The development is done. But currently there aren't enough boards for this connector. Furthermore I think 90% wouldn't use this port because the standard for USB sticks or headphones is the Type-A port.

My Asus Strix Z370-I Gaming motherboard has a USB type-C connector at the rear, but functionality of it is very limited. It doesn't support power delivery and it doesn't have DisplayPort functionality. So I think it's still too "soon" for USB-C on motherboards, if it's not backed by a Thunderbolt3 chip, you can't really do much with it, so I don't understand why people are asking for it. If it is just to charge your phone you might as well use a wall-charger. I can't even connect a Asus portable screen with USB-C connector.

So yeah, I believe dondan has made the correct choice.

In the end, the best fan to put down the case is the:

Noctua NF A9x14

Yes, it's a pain to mount, you should be VERY DELICATE withe the raiser, you have to extend at maximum...
And you should be SUPER VERY DELICATE when screwing motherboard in place...

you are doing it at your own risk, I do not take any responsibility, man advised !!!

Did you have any problems with the fan blades scraping the bottom of the case?

building my setup and using the cryorig c7 idle fan runs around 1700-1800rpm but when i put side panel i get alot of noise/hum from the side panels... any idea how to fix this maybe a filter of some sort?

So there are some available? Would you be able to sell me one?

Agree. It will take a compelling need for a high-bandwidth, do-everything, single cable... perhaps the next generation of VR headsets, if they don’t go wireless or standalone first.

QuantumBraced: Currently no prototypes exists only a technical drawing of the supplier.
dglow: No Type-C is only the connector. USB3.0 = USB 3.1gen1 and the fast one is USB 3.1 gen2. Some modern smartphones have a Type-C connector with a USB 2.0 controller chip behind it. A Type-C port say nothing over the speed. Due to Apple everyone think Type-C means USB3.1 gen2 + Thunderbolt 3 and Power Output. And this is the reason why I never would add a Type-C plug without the new USB3.1 gen2 internal header (Key-A-20pin)

If I take a look in my crystall globe I would say the new Key-A-20pin header will not be the standard on ITX boards before 2020.

^^ indeed.

Laptops on the other hand are completely different, most of the recent laptops have a thunderbult/USB-C type port.

Maybe not standard, but I wish I could utilize mine. :/

Is the dancase in black fully anodized? like the outer case and the frame inside? im going to have my case powdercoated soon.

I bet there will be one next year. I mean that literally, anyone wanna bet?
If I'm not mistaken, that's the same header Asus has been including on some of their boards since last year. They remain the only manufacturer to do so, though. Currently, that's only two ITX boards with the header (one of which isn't even Gen 2).

Is there or will there ever be an option to purchase just the window kit somewhere? I missed the kickstarter and purchased from caseking and only later realized that the window kit is not sold separately anywhere. I'm having a bit hard time closing the side panels due to aio tubes and the extra space from window kit would be fantastic.

Hello good people!
I have Corsair SF600 in my DAN case. All parts of system are very quiet except this PSU. Are there any quieter PSU's that I can use?
Thanks!

Are you sure there's not something wrong with your PSU? I haven't noticed any noice coming from my SF600

I think that is the same header that Asus used, first in the Z270 and now in the Z370. The one in the Z370 is a 3.1gen2 header if I'm not mistaken.

You should replace the fan with a Noctua A9x14 fan, you can buy an adapter from moddiy or plug the fan to an available MB header :)

Oh, I was thinking about it. But I'm looking for alternative, maby for quiter PSU) Or corsair is the quietest?)

I wouldn't go around advising people to mod power supplies. Don't fuck with that if you don't know what you're doing.

If you buy this case and can build your own computer in it you should also be qualified enough to unscrew the 4 screws and plug out the corsair fan and put in the Noctua fan in the SF600 tbh...
