They always seem to release new drivers RIGHT AFTER I do clean format and reinstall. Never fails.

No, no, LOL. About every six months or so.

But before I do it, I have a ritual of fetching all of the latest drivers for my motherboard, GPU, etc. But it seems like Nvidia always release a new Forceware version right after I'm done with this ritual.

Why do I reformat / reinstall twice a year???

Modestly it's an old fart ritual that harkens back to the Win9x days because back then Windows really did run like a bag of shit after a few months of use.

You had to do it for Win9x, I did the same thing back in the day. Windows 7 and 10...not so much. I recently formatted and reinstalled my Windows 10 boxes at home, they had been running for at least 6 years or so prior to that.
