My favorite card of all time, it still holds the record for best video card under 60watts if I'm not mistaken. I love the thing but I want some money towards an upgrade. http://www.ebay.com/itm/183114176573

IT hasn't held that record for a year and a half.

The stock GTX 1050 is 60% faster while still being bus-powered. The 1050 Ti has many bus-powered models, and those are 75% faster than the GTX 750 Ti.

The only card that is slower is the 1030, but that is a 25w card, and is low-profile, and passive-cooled.

But you have fun selling your card. Now is the perfect time, with these nuts rushing the market.

Not to seem rude but are these selling for that much really? I feel I screwed up selling mine for 50 a couple months ago now

Yeah mine is $5 less than the next PNY XLR8, bus powered does not mean 60 watts BTW. Last I checked those newer cards are 75 watts.

This particular manufacturer has historically held a premium price, it's one of the best for sure. Just look PNY XLR8 oc'd 750ti you will see.

I am not trying to get full price necessarily either.

oh no worries, I mean, I had a EVGA 750ti SSC? SC? and 21.5" monitor I peddled for 100 bux, mostly cause I didn't need it anymore, (was estimating about 50 each for em) just was shocked when I saw your listing at 140..... thought maybe cause I was looking at it via my phone maybe ebay had defaulted to some other currency, had to double check :p

Not the 1050. It's closer to 60w than anything else.

There's a 5w difference between the 750 Ti, then 1050 and another 5w to get to the 1050 Ti version. We're not talking mountains of power here. And the performance/watt is much higher.

I have read an indepth review of the 1050 where it jumps to nearly 75w while overclocked, less when not OC'd of course. The 750ti will never pull that much without modding its fw / bios, even while OC'd.

FWIW I don't consider the 1050 in the same class as 1050ti at all and don't see it as competitive for this item. (significantly worse performance for the price compared to 1050ti).

Also, 1050ti are about $200. I just lowered the asking price to 120.

There's one broken one for 80, but if you want it running that is 110 after shipping, for the lesser manufacturers. Dropped my asking price to 120.

*bump for you

Wish I could sell my old 6950 2GB for the same price lol

(considering they're basically identical performance-wise)

You can stay in denial all you want, I'm not buying itit. You can under-clock the 1050 to your heart's content, if the power is too high., it will still be 50 percent faster at exact same power. Last time I checked. That's the definition of "higher efficiency"

I'm not denying that it is a more efficient card thats why they are $200.

If it doesn’t sell for you asking price, I’d check out the range of the price on the cards that sold.

Just saying your sales pitch feels like something out of a reality tv show. I know you're trying to pump and dump, but this is the [H]. Save the bs for the eBay page.

No, 1050 are MSRP $109. But the miners are buying everything at the moment which is why they go for $200. just look at the octo-miner with 8 1030 even...

There was a reddit post about a guy who has a 7x 750Ti mining rig that he is about to add 13 more 750ti's to. Lol.

The 1050 is quite a bit inferior to the 1050ti, and draws more power.

At 60 watts the 750ti is still in the top 3 at least. It rocks for gaming, even some 4k and 3 monitor setups.

edit: Someone posted a Nope reaction gif trying to undermine my last claim there, but deleted it before I noticed. If anyone wants to place a bet I will upload footage of me doing some 4k gaming on this card. I am not sure what game would be good to showcase 3 monitors, when I had 3 hooked up I would usually game on 1 and use the others for multitasking/video. The game i tested 5760x1080 on had low fps, so the card might just do better with 4k or maybe different game/settings needed.

One of us is confused on the definition of 'pump and dump ' I think. I have been using this card for over 3 years and am the original owner. All I said pretty much is that this is my favorite card of all time and that it might still be the #1 card for 60 watts and under. (Including the 5850 that I sold for twice what I paid after 2 years)

It will never draw more than that even if you OC it. I can link you to the study where they show the 1050 pulling almost 75 w max if you doubt me.

That guy is charging shipping (that listing is $95 total) and it is an evga. The PNY XLR8 is factory overclocked and stomps the shit out of that card.

I just checked.

The listing I posted is an EVGA 750ti SC which is rated at 1255 boost clock.

Your PNY XLR8 is rated at 1281 boost clock.

That's a mere 26 mhz difference or 2.1%.

Which means there will be basically ZERO difference between the two in gaming.

You keep trying to make your card sound like more than what it is....

It is pretty simple really, if you don't want to pay more for the better card then don't. Nothing about this is stopping you from grabbing the evga, it is all yours. My card is priced lower than any PNY XLR8, just check the prices and reviews for how they stack up.

In games does a better job at 4k than 5760x1080. When I used it with 3 monitors it was usually 1 for video, one for gaming and the 3rd for browsing or whatever.

From PCPer's 750 Ti round-up.

The PNY XLR8 OC is able to hit an average frame rate in BF4 of 34 FPS at 1080p and Ultra quality preset. EVGA follows just behind at 33 FPS and the Galaxy option at 32 FPS. (
A difference of 2-3%)

As it turns out, with all that jumping around of the frequency on the PNY GTX 750 Ti OC, the EVGA card is actually averaging the highest overclocked speed at 1419 MHz.

Seems the lack of the PCI-E 6-pin connector is both a blessing and a curse for the XLR8. If your use-case doesn't allow for a PCI-E 6-pin connection, it's the obvious choice.

That last graph is crazy, never seen clockspeed versus time compared between reference cards before. Not even sure what that would do to impact perceived performance.

Oh and thanks for putting in the part about the power pins, I forgot to mention that it doesn't require anything other than a slot on the motherboard. I had forgotten that any 750ti cards were like that honestly.

you are not playing Modern games at 4K with a 750 Ti...

Not the AAA heavy hitters that people use for benchmarks, no. But lighter games like Fortnite and World of Final Fantasy run decently. Forza 3 also. I used shared ram to boost VRAM to 10.5GB on ultra textures.
Older games get a breath of new llife for in 4k, they look totally different from what I remember sometimes. I.E. WoW, Overwatch, Battlefield.

You can't just magically use system Ram as vram and have smooth performance. If you are actually running out of vram then you will get some hitching and slow downs.

Yeah I was very surprised at how it can share so much and still get 30fps on 4k.

I think you might actually get it under 2gb with low textures but I always prioritize that as a personal preference.

The card sold for $124 BTW. I was going to sell it for less here but I guess some random found it.
