While the Windows phone may be dead, Microsoft is selling the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ on it's website, and it doesn't come with Windows Mobile. The phone is being sold unlocked, and with the "Microsoft Launcher," as well as Skype, Cortana, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word. In a statement to Trusted Reviews, a Microsoft representative stated that when the devices are unboxed and connected to WiFi, a "Microsoft Customization" is applied to this ,the "Microsoft Edition" Galaxy S9.

Those interested in the Microsoft Edition of either the Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus can reserve one through Microsoft’s store from Friday. Units are scheduled to start shipping to customers on March 16, in line with the standard release date.
