Saw this over on SlickDeals. TF2 is a great game! Skipped ME:C but for $5 it should be good.

Amazon
EA Origin

thanks...picked up Titanfall 2 for $5...been wanting to play the single player campaign for awhile as I heard it's excellent...I almost picked this up back during a sale in November for $9.99...glad I waited :D

Ok I'm in for BF1 (for single player mostly I think), almost bought it full price the other day.

I never played any of the mass effect games. Should I grab that too?

I bought titanfall 1 and played it like 2 times, but if the single player is good I could see it maybe being worth $5?

For $7.49, absolutely buy the Mass Effect Trilogy. The third game's ending upset quite a few people, but ultimately it was a great series. It's one of my favorites. (You can probably skip Andromeda though. It's the first of a new series and has more or less been abandoned for the foreseeable future.)

Probably gonna get myself DA:I and Mirror's Edge Catalyst

Still on fence about andromeda and DA2 DLC bundle

Anyone know if the 7 day demo for BF4 allows you to play Single player?

purchased!

anything else I should get to test out the new 1080i (eye candy game).

Thanks going to pick up BF1. Does Mirror's Edge Catalyst support an XB1 controller? This might be a good title for my theater. Dragon age looks pretty good too may get that as well, I love $5 games.

Mass Effect Trilogy for $7.50 seems good at a glance, but I don't think that comes with ANY of the DLC which is total bullshit by this point.

edit -" PLEASE NOTE: Mass Effect Trilogy includes Mass Effect Pinnacle Station and Bring Down the Sky. "

So 2 DLC out of... 20+? Grrrr. I mean the equipment DLC upgrades aren't that big of a deal but all the rest like Shadow Broker etc...

This site has a good "must have" list:
https://www.giantbomb.com/mass-effe...ay-the-me-trilogy-what-dlc-do-i-need-1429087/

Best to "worst" (but still recommended)
  1. From Ashes
  2. Leviathan
  3. Lair of the Shadow Broker
  4. Overlord
  5. Citadel
  6. Zaeed - The Price of Revenge
  7. Kasumi - Stolen Memory
  8. Arrival
  9. Omega
  10. Bring Down the Sky
  11. Normandy Crash Site
  12. Pinnacle Station

Yep, make sure you know what you're getting for that money. It's far from a complete pack.

I still stand by my original "worth it" for $7.50. Those DLCs (especially From Ashes) are nice, but EA has been milking the DLC for the original Mass Effect series. I don't think you're likely to see all the DLC bundled any time soon. $7.50 is like one meal at McDonalds. Worth it for how much game time you'll have.

Believe a lot of these titles are included in Origin Instant Access for $4.99 a month. Could sign up play through the titles you like then discontinue.

This is what I do Plus there's a lot more than this on there. I think Origin Access is a really great deal If you use it wisely - e.g. months when you aren't going to use it, unsubscribe.

I also believe (although I'm not sure) that the Origin Access titles come with DLC. I'll have to check on that and confirm. If it does, Origin Access is a much better deal. For most of these games you're locked into Origin Access anyways.

~$5 is an awesome deal for these games though!

Yes, sure it is still a good value for $7.50. But it just infuriates me that EA still wants to nickle and dime us to death for the DLC, and most of it is really good.

If you do end up getting it, make sure to go to Nexus mods and grab the joystick/hud mods. Allows you to play properly with a joystick (which I prefered, since I played it orignally on 360). There are also some texture packs and stuff if you like to mess around with stuff like that (even alternate Miranda outfits, LOL).

Never played any of these which should I prioritize?

The Mass Effect Trilogy is the best out of the bunch by far in my opinion. Andromeda is my favorite out of the ones I've played, but it's the worst game in the Mass Effect series in several areas. I went ahead and picked up Titanfall 2 though since I didn't have it.

Mass Effect 1 was done while BioWare was an independent company. Mass Effect 2 was largely completed by the time the buyout was final. Their influence in it is minimal. As for the rest, well........

Have not played Mirror's Edge but every game that is made for Xbox One also supports the XB1 controller on PC.

Loved the original Titanfall so this is the perfect time to snag up #2. Having a blast with it so far. Totally worth it. Thank you OP

I grabbed TF2 for that great price. I can't wait to try the single-player.

If I buy TF2 should I get standard to ultimate? I'm guessing standard. So far I hardly even played the other games I bought heh. BF1 single player is great so far I love the old school weapons.

TF2 for $5 is a great deal. The SP was epic -- best mech play I've had in forever. The wall-running mechanics as a pilot are intuitive and well incorporated into the missions.

They have the Crysis trilogy for $12.49 is that worth it?
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/crysis/crysis-trilogy/crysis-trilogy

The Crysis Trilogy includes - Crysis, Crysis: Warhead, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Crysis 3 Digital Deluxe Edition and Crysis 3: The Lost Island.

Totally. They're some of the most fun and interesting FPS games, IMO. Don't expect multiplayer to still be running, though. However, you might find some custom master server lists, or private server IPs online that you can connect to, to still play.

Right. ME/ME2/ME3 are what, 5 to 10 years old, and the DLC's for it are still $44 ON SALE.
I get needing to get their money, but that is just insane.

I'd rather play the DLC, but at those prices, I am not going to.
