Looking for a couple of Firefox extensions

I'm looking for a Firefox add-on to give me control of whether images are downloaded/displayed, or not (I need this for a couple of different rigs, and in one case "hidden" is as good as "not downloaded," and in the other case, it is not).

Specifically, wanted features include:

Turn images on/off globally in the browser
Turn images on/off in the current tab
Create exceptions for specific URL strings, like Firefox had before "progress" killed it. E.g., I had an exception for google image search's "gstatic" URL, so thumbnail images in google image search results always displayed.

I'm also looking for something similar for stuff like flash, java, and javascript. I know the Developer Kit will let me turn styles on and off, and possibly flash/java/javascript, but I'm looking for something simpler and quicker, that works more like QuickJava did for Firefox, before "progress" killed it.

I'm not optimistic, but I figure it can't hurt to ask.

I think noscript might be configurable to do all that. Might require a bit of reading to do though.

Easy Image Blocker?

This is going to be harder. Proxies used to do this sort of stuff, but now that everything is SSL'd, you can't see beyond the domain (can't see the rest of the url or parms).

I thought I posted that I found an extension that does it (SettingSanity), but I guess it didn't go through. In any event, it wouldn't help because it doesn't work on Quantum. I already have extensions working on FF 56 that do all of this - was just looking for a way to do it all on current versions.

Noob, does noscript generally allow you to put the command in a toolbar button?

CJ, will look at EIB, thanks.

First time I've been called Noob in a while haha :D I'm not sure though tbh. I use noscript but have never really got too crazy with it. I think it's likely you'll need to do a bit of reading on what it can do and how to do it. But I understand if you don't want to bother with that.

Haha my bad I misread your label for your handle. Yeah noscript was a bit like space shuttle controls last time I looked; that's why I asked.
