Wallye Tactik Duffle for SFF carry (M1, A4, SG13, laptop + eGPU)

So how large of a keyboard can it fit inside? Full size 101? I really dislike the mini keyboards.

Version 2 is 48*31*22.5cm, within carry-on size. It's about the size of a weekender bag.

wahaha360 just an idea maybe you want to add zipper for the quick case access in case someone want to change it to backpack style and forgot that they still have item in the pocket just to prevent it from falling down

zipper for the side pockets or the handle pockets?

the side pockets have velcro to close them. The handle pockets don't.

I'm confused a bit Waha. What's the difference between the $160 Globtrotter pledge and the two more expensive ones ($180 & $210) besides cost of course? Do you get more items or is it just more donation type thing?

The $160 Globetrotter kit is Early Bird Special, it's limited in quantity. The standard price is $210 for the kit.

I missed so much these past few months! Forgot about getting v1 and now I see v2 and it's even better! Just pledged for a weekender tier + some additional add-ons.

Quick question, does the strap for the backpack clips also fit over luggage handles to secure the bag?

Yes, you can use the backpack strap to secure the duffle to the luggage handle, it's a hack, just not very tight. If you are stacking on a check-in suitcases with larger surface area for the duffle to stack, it's not an issue. However, smaller suitcase with less surface area for stacking may be a problem.

We will reveal the dedicated luggage stacking strap soon as a stretch goal.

The v1 interested me a while back, might jump on this. The pitch makes something a bit unclear though unless I'm just being an idiot, the concept drawing mentions the 'Weekender' opens to the main compartment from the zip at the top of the bag. and then the video demonstration doesn't show the top zip being used during the computer case demonstrations, while the side zip the computer case demonstrations used isn't used in the 'Weekender' demonstration, only the top zip. Are these two different bag styles or do both zips go to the same compartment anyway?

Both zips go to the same compartment anyways.

There is a zipper on the top and the side. The top zipper is shown in the weekender part of the video. The computer case part of the video is showing the side zipper.

So this fits perfectly inside of the airplane front seat huh? And I'm also wondering just how great that mod padding is to be worth $30. Can I get more explanation on this? I'm very happy for you and would love to support you, it just feels that this kickstarter campaign lacks details all over the place. It's just kind of all "it's a bag that fits computers". Not much else.

The padding is $20 if you're a backer. It's probably the same as most high end DSLR camera bags. It's usually a thick foam padding that is held together by velcro to build a cushion zone that perfectly fits your components into neat little compartments to prevent it from bouncing around. The video explains a lot of the features of the bag.

Looks like the general design has progressed from being a "tactical" carrying case that looks technical in nature, to a bag that is more similar to conventional carry-on luggage with a sleek design (Briggs & Riley, Cote & Ciel).

I think if both V1 and V2 were available for purchase, right now I would prefer V1. But I don't represent all customers. I will still be buying either one that becomes available. ;)

I could not agree more. I hope I can still purchase the V1

I understand deciding to move in a different direction than "tactical", but the V2 just doesn't look as refined in terms of design choices. To give the best feeling: V2 is almost like a knock-off with how plain and boxxy the details are now.

Some shots of the compartmens and insides would be interesting, but personally speaking I don't like the new v2's aesthetics. The new shoulder strap is nice though

Is there a way to purchase the first version anywhere? The new one really looks boring and stripped down :-(

V1 is more practical, plus it is smaller in size and for me personally it looks better.

Want to swap? Haha I want the old one

For those that prefer the V1 look, we made the removable Luggage Strap Kit to bridge the gap.

Awesome, I definitely see myself using that much more often than the backpack strap.

Close to that stretch goal!

wahaha360 I assume you're a photographer based on the quality of your promo material and the various add-ons that can turn the Tactik Duffle into a photo bag. As a photographer myself I've already got a few different photo backpacks. Is there any reason you think this product excels as a photo bag, or do you find photo gear to really just be a secondary 'perk' to the primary use of this bag?

If you are take photos outside, the photo bag function is a secondary perk. The backpack / sling is really the way to go, hard to beat that.

If the goal is to carry a bunch of gear, this bag, with the modular padding (similar to Peak Design Everyday BackPack FlexFold dividers), the duffle is much better.

On my way back from Asia this JAN, I had the Peak Design Everyday Backpack with (DSLR inside), Tactik Duffle V1.5 (SFF Prototype inside) and Carry-on Suitcase (clothing inside).

Hope that clarifies things.
