Jeebus. I'd have to do some research, but with my not very old Marshall DSL40C currently decomissioned, over I'm guessing some tube issues, certainly pisses me off and makes me drool a bit! From recollection Jet City is good for the kind of stuff I play. I thought for that price, must be solid state or something, but yeah link says tube.

Not a big Jet City fan. My amp went bad and I sent it in for repair and it came back with a chuck out of the cabinet. They tried to get me to file a claim with UPS but there were no dents in the box so I know they did it while it was in the shop. Even after that there's a bad solder joint that makes one of the preamp tubes cut out. Luckily I only paid $229 for a 1x12 combo.

You get what you pay for. I find it's best to just save up and buy something not made in Asia.

They're all tube, the Custom 22 can do early Van Halen to Metal, I personally want the gimped 22HM but it is not in stock, not as gainy and more SLO than Victory. They go on sale all the time, so whatever you do don't pay more than $300 for one...

I have a hard time believing that? What model was it?

FWIW, the new DSL20HR was in stock at Musician's Friend, so I blew my points on one of those instead.

Ah back when they had the fugly logo.. They don't do combo's anymore, still find it odd Doug would try to screw you over.
Well, after some bitching (and I feel bad because I had just quit smoking and it got ugly lol) they offered to send me a new cabinet. At that point I was already shopping for a new amp so I didn't bother. The bad solder joint happened a month or two later when swapping tubes (this is a typical problem with PCB mounted tube sockets).

P.S. Who's Doug? lol
