NZXT's FIRST MOTHERBOARD! The Z370 N7

Looks beautiful...like a much cleaner version of the Asus Sabertooth with Thermal Armor.

10 fan headers, and none of them are corner-cutting 3-pin...that absolutely rocks! If I narrowed a list and this MoBo won for my next upgrade, I would rock the black shroud with red heatsink covers...would be perfect for my red and black theme. But, the $300 msrp is kinda steep for some lacking features, imo.

"I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite motherboard on the market..."

Overpriced, lacks features for the price range and looks bland, performance seemed okay but suffered under overclocking. not my cup of tea

I really don't see the point of these motherboards. Why would you pay that much for something with zero track record....questionable build quality....from a company that really makes mediocre products at best. Literally any Asus / EVGA / Gigabyte board is better than these things....plus looks better.

Wow I really like the design on this. :)

Yeah that's actually Nice from Something like them. I just wonder there is was probably surely somebody that got rid of z170/270 just to have this new platform where it definitely isn't needed yet.

Yeah I wouldn't waste money if I already have a board but would be a nice upgrade just for looks :)

If that's actually ECS, that's like Biostar or something...be honest made a lot of lower end Boards....

Gamer's Nexus has confirmed that the board is made by ECS. So...Yeah, that instantly means people should be incredibly wary. The fact that the board is so expensive and lacks extensive overclocking features, instead using GRD as a primary selling feature, is even more of a turn-off.

There are and have been plenty of decent ECS boards. Unfortunately there were a lot of crap ones too... like the first five or six revisions of the venerable K7S5A back in the day. :D

I sure as hell wouldn't pay what they want for this thing though.

it's now $230 (shipped) from the Egg (May 2018) and includes the two LED strips/extensions. Just the built-in digital LED controller is $50 if bought separate. When you take off the cost of the LED stuff and what a metal shroud would cost if available separately we're looking at a quality Z370 motherboard with excellent performance and superior looks for about $110

I just posted a short and sweet hands-on write up HERE at [H]
