Hey folks,

I know the market is pretty dry right now, but would I have better luck going directly through a manufacturer if I wanted to purchase 100+ 1070/ti's?

I have an LLC and would be willing to pay full retail for all of them.

Anyone have any experience with this?

If Newegg and Amazon can't get em, you can't get em... Not legally, all least.

and with companies like Amazon and newegg buying insane volume they'll be ahead of you. YOu'd give Nvidia the full amount and then wait months.

With AMD / NVidia not legitimizing the mining market, it will be like this until they do.

please do not. if you do please consider your fellow [H] friends and share the your stock.

It's been bad, but there were some cards out there at a mild-rape price 2 weeks ago, I picked up 2x 1060's 3GB for $190, 1 for $220 and a 1070 for $409 - but it seems like this week has been really bad, best price on a 3GB card that I've seen is $290. Even the 1050TIs are $225 now. Fuck that, it's not worth it.

I think I could make more money selling my cards than I could mining right now.

if you're willing to go with differant cards i can get 100+ of them for a decent price.

Statements from AMD / NVidia C-suite types who refuse to acknowledge the blockchain computing space:

AMD

NVidia
Looks like marketing did not hear that:

For CryptoNight Algorithm coins nothing comes close to Vega, not even Volta as in the Titan V. For Ethereum algorithm coins only the Titan V beats it.

Reach out directly to mfgs.

Gigabyte will entertain orders of 100 GPUs, MSI I think MOQ is 500.

...or start doing Burst.

Imagine the reaction if the big HDs all of the sudden started having... "supply issues".

the next 8Tb easystore sale could be interesting. I bought quite a few of them and will try to be setup better by time the next sale hits. I'm trying to scale that up.

Time to buy up 2gb cards and mine algos that don't care about memory.
Or a crapload of Ryzens on cheapest motherboard with 4gb...
Long as it pays for itself, no combo too lame to consider.
