Nvidia has released their last game ready driver of the year and it's for Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. To install fire up GeForce Experience and click the "Drivers" tab. Thanks, blah blah.

Now, PUBG is exiting Early Access with a new desert map, a new, game-changing vaulting mechanic, new guns, new vehicles, a replay system, a death cam, tweaks to the original Erangel map, and a whole load of optimization. And of course, there's our new Game Ready driver, with further optimizations and tweaks, delivering the fastest and smoothest PUBG experience of any platform.
Such is the level of optimization that you can now play PUBG at over 60 FPS, with High settings, at 1920x1080, on an affordable GeForce GTX 1060

considering how much hype Nvidia is throwing at this game's optimization, they must have taken a heavy direct hand in helping optimize it. This is the payback, they get to hitch their cart to the game's success.

I am completely addicted to this game right now. It's not the best anything, but it is above average at everything. A lot of fun to play with something different happening every time!

I'm finding it more and more "meh" as I go on. Haven't played it in weeks. Maybe I'll try it again when the new map goes official, not really interested in test mode. Spending 20 minutes gearing myself up only to be killed by some cheap shot, lucky bastard, or a cheater and then start all over again gets tiresome really quick.

I have been playing on the test server the last couple weeks and it is hard to play on the live servers anymore. The vaulting / performance improvements have been really good. I really like the new desert map as well. Cheaters were rampant, but a fix seemed to weed most of them out, and now with the kill cam and replay features in the new version, they should be easy to report.

I find it's better to jump into or just outside a hot/high loot zone and pick up just enough kit to tag someone. Either you die or you have a bunch of great loot in a couple minutes. It makes the rest of the game easier. I am extremely aggressive (I will shoot at anyone, even if the likelihood of hitting is low) the first couple of circles, so that I either get kills or die early. Once it gets the third or fourth circle I back off and pick my shots.

Basically I either die in the 80s in a couple minutes or make it to the 10s after 20 minutes or so. Still have not secured chicken dinner in solo mode though. It always seems to just evade me or I screw up.

You can only optimize so much when the base game is written like crap

Very smooth on the system below- with old drivers even, at 1440p, settings topped (except perhaps AA). Not entirely sure what Nvidia has done further, but I'm not going to complain!

The game has no polish, graphics, gameplay etc it's all just rough cuts. Shit looks no better than modern warfare from 10 years ago even though it's running off much better tech.

I don't give a shit about early access etc you're selling the game i'm judging it based on what you're selling not what you promise to give me, this ain't no star citizen shit.

PUBG may be the best multiplayer shooters I have ever played. And I absolutely hate the controls, bullet drop, and RNG. Not many games can be as intense and rewarding.

Anyone try it yet or does it not affect the test server? Last pubg update seemed to not run as well as the original new map launch. I'm hoping this is a bit better.

As far as reporting goes, it's a cluster and quite a bit more work to do so than it should be. You have to record a video clip of them cheating, write a description of the cheat along with the video and time frame it. Then upload it to bluehole and hope they ban the prick. There is a "report" button, but it's only there for stat checking or something, has no effect on actually dealing with the problem.
